Is it ok to use regular clumping cat litter? It would be ideal if my cat an dog could use the same litter box

it is possible to train a small dog to use a litter box but while I don't know if you can use the same kind of litter, I wouldn't have them use the same litter box, a lot of dogs like the taste of cat poop and yes that would just be disgusting, good luck on the puppy

I'm not so sure about the litter, instead go to Wal-Mart and look for puppy pads, they are like a padded absorbent floor cloth meant just for dogs. You get about 50 in a pack and they last a few weeks.

There is special dog litter available, but I imagine you can use the same kind of litter box as long as it was the right size.

that wouldnt be a good idea, cats are pretty personal about the box. I onlyhave a dog and I tried it with him and the box rly just isnt big enough they tend to move a bit when they go.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. I don't know anyone that has done it but i'm sure it can be done. I had a friend whose cat used the toilet (only to pee though) and she always complained that he didn't flush! LOL! I thought that was being a little picky....come on, your cat is using the TOILET!!!!

Yes, but why would you? That's gross. Anything that can't poop in a toilet should do it outside.
