Hiya,
Why can't I find my soulmate?
I need to find:
1) A man
2) a vegetarian
3) a musician - I'm a techno violinist
4) must love festivals, camping & live music
5) must make me laugh
6) must be a calming influence, but with a wicked streak
7) would hopefully be into Mother Nature as 'The First'!
8) Not a wimp or doormat
9) A big bloke, maybe into bikes too? Tattoos and piercings not a must but a treat!
10) Somebody who I could have copiuos amounts of beer with and then talk all night and watch the sun come up together!
11) MUST MUST love food and cakes - I'm a wicked cook!
Guess I'm being too picky, heh???!!!!

Out of those 11, which are your top 3? Start there. If you find a guy who is into your top 3, then I think you have a good thing going. There's no way you'll be able to find all 11 in a guy...and even if you did, there might be one or two things that change later on. Will you stop loving him if let's say he stopped making you laugh?
Know how far you'll go in each category as well. What if he wasn't a strict vegetarian--what if he ate eggs and butter? What if he ate mostly vegetarian, but still ate chicken and fish once in awhile? Would that be a problem with you?
Next, use the power of positive thinking. He's out there somewhere for you--you just haven't found him YET!

Well I think that it's nice that you know exactly what you want in a man but I think you should also know that love is..... making sacrifices, accepting flaws, forgiving, trusting, and so much more. If God just dropped the absolute perfect man on our doorsteps then life would be boring. Without bad, the good wouldn't be so good. It's going to take time to find the guy that will still give you butterfly's after 5yrs but when you do you might also find that he only has half of the thing that you are looking for but is willing to try the rest. It's good to be picky, but you're expecting a guy to fall into every category exactly the right way.
In other words, you are not leaving any wiggle room for flaws. What if he is everything but #10? Would you consider that a failure?
My advice is stop obsessing and start living.

It sounds trite, but I found when I stopped looking, I found Mr. Right. Get involved in things that make you happy and you'll at a minimum meet friends with similar interests. Take a vegetarian cooking class for fun! You might learn something new and maybe meet some people who are like minded!

YOUR BEING TOO PICKY!!! We all want this perfect person for us, but we never can seem to find them. At one point you have to take a step back and shorten your list down. The soul mate you are looking for may exist, but it is going to take you years and years too find. Instead look for a person with a few important qualities that is on your list. Who knows that person may turn out to be your soul mate. but for now stop being so picky.

You are looking for way too much in a guy, we all have our opinions and those are things I'm not looking for i a guy but i respect your style and pick of guys i just think your looking for to much in a guy but there is someone out there for everyone!! Unfortunately we all start out with a big list but as the frogs are kissed along the way, you end up with just one item on the wish list ...and you are way to young for me to tell you what that is!

Well i wouldnt say your being picky, i mean we all have things we want in our soulmate but you could try a lesser of a man then what you desire and if it works out then it works out. ( try internet web sites like Match.com, Ect.)

Yes, I would say that you are way too picky. You cannot pick and choose they do not come custom made. You will find your soul mate when you are least expecting it. Perhaps you are looking too hard.

well... if u r looking 4 a man hu has all these qualities... u r not looking for a soulmate... instead u r just looking 4 ur IDEAL man... and dats totally DIFFERENT...
ur SOULMATE is ur half... it doesnt necessarily mean dat he have all those qualities... LOVE is wen u break ur own rules... sometimes u wud tell urself dat u want someone lyk this...lyk dat... but der will come a tym dat surprisingly u will suddenly fall in love wid someone hu has d OPPOSITE quality of wat u rily lyk... and dats wat u really call love... coz u brek ur own rules...
u can never choose ur soulmate... coz dat person is already chosen and destined ONLY for you... someone perfectly made for you... sometyms, someone who has d qualities w/c u ac2aly dont have, 2 make it balance... lyk ur weakness is ac2aly his strengths so dat wen ur down he can raise u up... and vice versa...
wen u alredy find him... u will even forget ur standards... and u will even wonder y u love this person so much...
eniweiz...u dont have 2 look 4 ur soulmate... coz watever hapens he will come ur way....gudluk....
