It's not just Christians who do not believe that Mohammed is the last prophet- also Jews, Bahais, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Mormons, atheists, agnostics, ex-Muslims, etc..

Christians believe that Jesus is who he said he was-The Christ (The Anointed One), the Son of God and not just an "ordinary" prophet. We do not believe He was lying or that His disciples were lying. We believe what the Bible teaches- including Paul's writings, which carries several stern warnings, such as:

" Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"(Galatians 1:7-8)NIV

Although verses (or parts of verses) are taken from the Bible by Muslims to try to show that there was to be a prophet to replace Jesus, this is not what the Bible teaches.

There are some who claim to be Christians and definitely do not follow the Bible's teachings. Some of these people will be turned away by the Lord from entering heaven, if they remain in a rebellious state.

There are lots of wonderful Christians who love the Lord Jesus very much and follow His teachings.

Methinks you've been smoking that "piple" a bit too much.

Christians don't believe Muhammad is "God's last prophet" any more than Muslims believe that Jesus is the "Son of God", nor should they. This isn't a contest or a race. Nitpicking other religions and claiming yours is the "best" or the "only correct one" isn't going to win you a lot of sympathy.

True, there is only one God. Did you know that God, in His power, made Himself into three? This is what we Christians call the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The same one true God who manifested Himself in the Old Testament to Moses, as a human being like us in the person of Jesus Christ, and now, as the Holy Spirit. God is a spirit, isn’t He? (John 4:24) Did you know that this Spirit of God resided in a human being who we call Jesus? After Jesus was crucified, died, resurrected, and ascended to Heaven, He came back as the Holy Spirit. A spirit still, isn’t it? This Holy Spirit manifested His power the day after the ascension of Jesus by giving the gift of tongue to His disciples in Jerusalem. That is why the disciples were able to talk to the Jewish pilgrims in their own languages (Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2). The promised Holy Spirit came immediately, not 600 years later. He is the one who will guide us into all truth (John 16:13).

How can Muhammad be that promised Holy Spirit when he is not a spirit but a human being? If Muhammad is a prophet, please tell us what his prophecies are. Deuteronomy 18:22 says: “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”

Christians do believe in one God.

And yes, Jesus does talk about someone coming after Him, but He does NOT say that it's a prophet. He calls them "the Comforter." It's in John 14. Read it yourself here:

Jesus goes on to explain who the Comforter is here:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=50&chapter=14&verse=25&end_verse=27&version=9&context=context

And it becomes pretty obvious that Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit, whom the disciples received at Pentecost in Acts 2. You can read that here:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=51&chapter=2&version=31&context=chapter

Sorry, the Bible was NOT talking about Mohammed.
