There are probably more atheists than you think. They may not want to come out of the atheist closet for fear of judgment from their friends and family.

I think there are, just like there are a lot more agnostics and people of tradition faiths who aren't obnoxious about it. They just have other priorities than trying to make the news or spending hours online.

Yes! I would think that more people would be interested in scientific expanations of things and exploring new ideas in this day and age. It's hard to talk about though, because so many people find it offensive to question the faiths we were raised with...
