all Officers MUST pass the same physical requirements as any other enlisted person, and in some cases, the requirements are more stringent.
If your heart condition would Disqualify you for enlistement, you will be unable to secure a Commission in any Branch of the military.

N O, and there would be too much stress on an aircraft carrier and the heart condition would stop

No, unfortunately.
My first year in the Army, I contracted Crohn's Disease, which was not properly diagnosed until after I finished my commitment (Crohn's is hard to catch until it is too late). That, too, is a medical disqualifier and prevented me from reenlisting.

If its happens each time you have a chilly or flue, then it rather is a project, and might require waiver. observe: it fairly is unusual to get pericarditis after chilly. many times you will possibly get it in the journey that your chilly/flu replaced into particular nasty through a weakened immune device.

The Armed Services are known for bending the rules for certain cases. If you have finished school with a degree not only are they EXTREMELY happy to give waivers, but they also will pay off your school loans.
