Good question...

I know I have been gay as far back as I can remember...even before I was too young to understand what sexuality was...I knew I liked guys...plain and simple...

No choice for me..God made me gay...

It is not God that has a problem with me...it is people who call themselves Godly....kinda ironic isn't it.

When I was twenty-one. Up until then, I was actively bisexual. Now, I'm a nonpracticing bisexual...but in all honesty, I don't really have lust for women anymore. Go figure.

Nice try, though.

Edit: The site you mentioned is run by the Westboro Baptist Church, and whatever they claim to be, they are NOT Christians!

I am not sure what you mean by straight? I knew at a very young age that my family was totally disfunctional, my dad was atheist, my mom alcoholic, my family was a mess, my grandma was very religious...so it all was mixed messages all the time. My moms idea of sending us to church was to give my oldest sister the money for the offering and shove us three out the door, church was across town and we would walk to the church, but pass by the tastyfreeze and Sandy would make us get ice cream instead of going to church...then she would tell us what to say to mom and dad if they asked us any questions, to which they never did..I didnt know about God only what gramma said..and she was not a happy person...now I realize because she was caught in religion..which by the way the word religion means back to bondage! ....but I wanted to read the Bible for myself and see..I liked the stories but found alot of it very confusing...I would go into my closet and sit and pray to God in the dark, (my dad would spank me if he caught me praying) I asked God to show me who he is and I asked him for help. I would feel such a peace and love there in that closet and I found myself talking to him much more..alot was going on and at times the only peace I had was in that closet...at 14 my family went thru a really messy divorced and against my will I went with dad, within a year my two sisters became druggies and pregnant...things were a mess....But I still prayed...to make a long story short..at 16 all the prayers I prayed in that closet had come to pass, my family came out of all of it, now several years later all is well...my mom died two years ago a non alcholic with a great life...my oldest sister still holds on to her sins and is not doing well, but this is because she chooses this, my middle sister is doing great and so is all of our children..and my dad..it took a supernatural circumstances to get him to come to Christ...but he did..and now throughout all these years, my walk with God is closer than ever and open, no more dark closet..and my life is awesome...such love and peace...yes there are problems...but if God be for me who can be against me...and he is soooooooo good to me...I think becoming staight is something we choose daily...everyday you make the decision to follow bad or good...Choosing God may not be the easiest way...but so well worth it...and the more you learn about how to fight evil..the more peaceful you become..hope it helps

Hopefully I can renew your faith that Christianity is not all bad, although I know it looks that way. I do believe in God I do not think he is like a judge condemning people to hell. I think he is probably saddened by the things people proclaim in his name, I know I am. Jesus came to remove judgement and hatred from this world. At least that's the way i see it.

I am a Catholic, I don't believe in gay couples. However, I DO believe that people have the right to be happy with their choices and sexual desires...
I was 100% sure I was straight the day I started dating and had my first kiss...

Not all Christians take that bigoted viewpoint. If you use Westboro Baptist as your example of all Christianity, you really need to expand your horizons.

I'm don't recall Jesus himself saying anything specifically about homosexuality one way or the other. There's a lot of hearsay.... but....
