I was reading some of the questions in th R&S section and one of them was about a girl who was raped and shes 13 years old and she was preganant by her rapist. Many of the people told her that it was her fault that she was raped and she deserved it . That's insane. I was raped at the age of 14 and tied down to a bed for 48 hours. Did I deserve it? No neither did she. I was also pregnant and I had no intention of keeping the child. why would I keep a child of a sick and twisted rapist? I had a miscarrige(thank god) and I was going to get an abortion.

Opinionated-The reason why I not pro-baby because it's my body and it's my choice. I wouldn't want a child by a man who violated me. Why would I want something I wouldn't care for? Having baby doens't solve anything it just creates more problems what if I kept the baby and it grew up knowing that it's father was a sick rapist. You haven't been in my shoes so don't judge me. I'm 16 years old and I had more happen to me longer than you have. Don't get it twisted

I don't understand that logic. Why have kids when they are unplanned? I would rather be childless than 16 years old raising a kid on my own. Adoption isn't the answer either. What if the baby comes back looking for me? What am I suppose to say "you're daddy was a rapist and I hate you and I never want to see you again"?

Christians are anti-FREEDOM, they aren't just targeting women, they want to control EVERYONE!

The cult of Christianity is MENTALLY ILL and have been brainwashed to think in circles.

Women are more EMOTIONAL and men are more PROGRAMMABLE...The males are the only ones allowed to preach because they HAVE TO KEEP THEIR STORY STRAIGHT, and a woman may just decide one day to say "F#CK THIS, today, I'm gonna tell them THE TRUTH!"

So "God" left MEN in charge of the household and the church...

I was rape at the age 15 and I kept my child because it was not his fault. He is almost 30 now and I have 2 beautiful grandchildren from him now 10yrs old and 5 years old. He has a beautiful wife and they are doing great in life. It was not my fault or my child's fault.
I am sorry you had to go through this I know how hard it is to be violated. I was also rape in a foster home at the age of 13.
Nothing was ever done about either one of those.
By the way I am a Christian.
(((HUGS)))

WHOA! Slow down a second.

1. I'm a Christian.
2. I'm a woman.
3. I've been sexually assaulted myself.
4. The WORST treatment I received as a result of the assault was from my ATHEIST doctor...who was ALSO a woman!
5. Stop generalizing. I would NEVER blame the victim in the case of rape. And for the record, when I was assaulted, my Christian friends were VERY sweet to me (one of them told me I had PTSD and pushed me into getting counseling, and even supported me when I told her that if I got pregnant I would have an abortion).

No, you did not deserve it. NO rape victim is "asking for it" and they DON'T deserve it.

you could plug your ears and scream " l. a. l. a. l. a. i won't be in a position to hearken to you" yet lust will nonetheless exist. The church did not make up that observe, you will discover it in each sort of secular issues. Christians are actually not anti-intercourse. they're anti-intercourse outdoors of marriage. intercourse is an fantastic, incredible, suitable element. in basic terms human beings pervert it with the aid of using it in a fashion that God did not intend. And sure, there is such element as a intercourse/porn addiction. The chemical compounds released on your recommendations once you're sexually aroused would properly be addicting, purely like a drug. it fairly is a organic drug.

I saw one answer that said it was her fault. So no, many people did not.

Secondly, I've seen atheists claim they want someone's grandmother to die whenever they ask for prayer. Do I make it so that I think all atheists are heartless trolls? No.

Instead, I use a logical deduction that one person doesn't reflect the views of the rest of people.

I'm sorry some Christians acted that way. But please don't think we're all that terrible. I am personally a Christian, I think want that girl and what you went through are horrible, and I think abortion is a personal choice that shouldn't be made by anyone but the woman going through the ordeal. Christianity itself isn't anti-woman, just some Christians are.

I am a Christian with a wife and 2 daughters. I despise violence against women and have NEVER met a Christian who felt otherwise. The people you speak of ccan hardly be Human, let alone Christian by any definition. I am sorry you were raped. I apologize for your pain. I wish you only peace and love the rest of your days in Jesus' Name! Amen!

The early Roman church censored any text showing women in high regard amongst Jesus and the disciples.

See the Gospel Of Mary, which was not included in the bible because it presents a powerful woman held in high regard by Jesus.
