I would like to test drive the toyota tundra 2007, but I don't know if it will be too big for my likes.. I know some dealerships allow people to test drive vehicles from days, to weeks. Does anyone know if toyota does this?

The reason I ask is because I know of a friend that drove a Audi and then ended up taking it back after a week and choosing a different color.

I want to do that too. I want to go to the beach for vacation but my truck isn't big enough to haul 3 kids and a wife. That's a great idea. I am going to test drive a H3 hummer or a Suburban

it's how i buy cars, i drive it over the weekend and see if i like it. so far it's 5/3. 5 cars i test drove over the weekend at different times, i ended up buying 3 of them.

the dealer would only do this if:

1:)they know you're a serious buyer-not a tire kicker

2;) you have a rock solid credit

3:) you a very good insurance comp.

4:) your saleman knows what he is doing.

my parents does the same thing, and the dealer would even give them free accomodations on a nice out-of-town weekend .

It's Called Grand Theft Auto.

Let us know when you beam down to the real world from the planet "Living with Mommy & Daddy".

No dealership is going to let you do this unless you are an Employee or Family member of the same. Some luxury car dealerships may allow it if your last name is Trump or gates.

People who tell you can do this don't know what they are talking about. My Proof if you don't believe me, run your butt down to the local dealership and try it right now.

most dealers won't even let you test drive by yourself anymore due to insurance regulations. my guess is your friend rented one for a week to see how they like it then went and bought one in a different color. By all means though I would ask them but don't hold your breath.

I doubt it, but you never know until you ask. They do that more with models that they are having a hard time selling.
I haven't heard of Toyota doing it but it might give them the idea.

Yes they should let you do that. I do sales at a Jeep Chrysler Dodge store and we do it all the time just ask them to put you on a d-tag for the weekend they should have no problem doing it
