OK, I know this question has been asked about 100000000 times but I just want to clarify that EVOLUTION and RELIGION are like APPLES and ORANGES~
we can't compare them and here are the reasons why:
EVOLUTION:
scientific theory
proven in micro organism
lot of evidence for it
RELIGION
Blind faith
based on not being proven till the end of time
no real credible evidence for it
Even though I highly admire people who have faith, you can't compare it so Evolution because:
A theory has to predict correctly to be a theory, however if it messes up even one time it is not theory any more. But religion we can say every thing God did it, or Satan did it. Even though those things might make perfect sense to you in outside real world they make little sense.
Another Theories are educated hypothesis unlike Religion which came in the time most people believed that earth is flat!
Even though I agree that Theory of Evolution would need more work, but that does not automatically make ID right!

You are not wrong. Scientist look at the facts and try to think of a hypothesis that explains it. Creationists start with a hypothesis and try to make the facts fit.

Before I say anything, Sorry sweety but I KNOW faith is not blind. I can speak for all the Muslims out there, and everyone else. Those who see any fault in their religion will either convert or leave it. We have a mind and common sense. As far as i'm concerned, I studies Islam strenously before following anything. So I know anyone who has faith in anything has it for a reason, a purpose. Science has always tried to find answes of nothing and the Nothing that comes out of nothing. (try to make sense of that, you'll get it). Science is great, but then again Islam had more science then anyone knew about MANY years before.
I don't agree with this whole theory of evolution. I found it to be absurd even BEFORE I was a true practicing Muslim. Everything science has discovered , or think they have in terms of micro-organisms and such, is obvious. BUT that doesn't explain evolution. Because Allah created the micro-organisms. Can religion and this be mixed... I don't think so because Allah never said we evolved out of worms. He never said I have created the worm and then the human. Islam believes Allah is the CREATOR, he has created all the heavens and the earth. He created Adam and Eve, and that's then we evolved from them. But honestly, Allah knows best.
But since we KNOW Allah has made everything, I don't see any problem with Muslims trying to find the truth and falsehood in evolution. As far as i'm concerned, Creationism makes much more sense.
"most people believed that earth is flat!" << that was science that thought that. Not religion. Scientists also thought humans were already pre-made in sperms, little humans (with the body already developed). enh..
Science needs improvement, not Islam. And i'm sure since you are a Muslima you will agree.

You are absolutely correct. Science and religion are two totally different disciplines. The problem comes in when religious people can not cope with what science proves. The best example of this is to look at the conflict caused by Copernicus and Galileo over the earth not being "fixed in the heavens" and the center of the universe.

chicken or egg question, which is first? the egg evolved inside the chicken, therefore the chicken came first.
another case, if one sprayed pesticides over an animal full of fleas, the fleas die, but the spraying should be repeated after 7 or 10 days lest the remnants, the eggs, which are not affected by the pesticide, will hatch and multiply. The point, without the fleas first, no eggs would be there.

Some people will completely miss the point because they have no understanding of scientific theory, or what constitutes evidence, or even that facts and reality are not subjective.

Ah, the ignorance.
Evolution does not disprove Creationism.
Creationism does support evolution, just embrace science and it will bring you closer to a GREATER understanding God.
The physical world is God's world, the same world that Jesus lived, the same world we live in today.
Be thankful that with God all things are possible.

These are the facts
. There is no adequate explanation for the origin of life from dead chemicals. Even the simplest life form is tremendously complex.
. The fossil record, our only documentation of whether evolution actually occurred in the past, lacks any transitional forms, and all types appear fully-formed when first present. The evidence that "pre-men" (ape-men) existed is dubious at best. So called pre-man fossils turn out to be those of apes, extinct apes, fully man, or historical frauds.

I did research on this specific topic Faith Vs. Educated Guess. One major point that I found was that whatever one person believes, whether it be a scientist or not, believe it out of their own faith.
