You mean only eat 100 calories a day?
No.
Quick lesson in metabolism theory.
Your metabolism will adjust itself to use what you give it.
If you eat 1500 calories a day, it will adjust so that all it needs is 1500 a day to keep you going.
If you only taken in 100 calories a day, your metabolism will kill itself to adjust down so that all it needs a day is 100 calories.
THEN, when you decide to eat 500 calories, you will effectively gain weight. Brilliant huh? So, if you relish the idea of being restricted to 100 calories a day for the rest of your life, or gaining weight easily on oh, 500-600 a day, by all means go for it. Of course, you'll soon die from malnourishment, renal failure, heart failure, or any number of delightful health issues, but at least you'll die bony with your ribs and hip bones clearly visible.

The E&B diet as we call it (Eat and Burn) is one of the biggest loads of BS I've ever seen come out of the world of dieting.
You can burn as many calories as you want per day but your body needs at the very minimum what-so-ever 1,000 calories completely untampered with to properly replace lost energy, repair muscle tissue and store energy if you really want to be healthy. If you're an athlete or even for that matter even just occasionally exercise this is one of the worst diets out there. Whoever came up with this diet in the first place clearly has never taken biology or chemistry in high school and they've also probably been brainwashed by the pop media into thinking they have to stay as thin as possible which to people like that means that calories are evil. It's a sad fact of the times but even diets like Atkins and South Beach are better for you than the E&B diet. Please, eat right, take your proper viatims and supplements every day and maintain an average weight.
If you're talking about eating only 100 calories a day then you need professional help from a dietician and a psychologist. If you ever feel so pressured as to go against the recommendations of any federal health organization then you should seek help as soon as possible especially if you're only eating 100 calories a day. If guys are what you're after we also don't like girls who are too skinny. Obese is obviously not good either but extremely underweight to me is highly comparable to being obese for the repulsiveness.

no it is not! it is a bad idea and you need mental help if you ever thought you could survive on 100 calories a day. the normal human body burns over 1200 calories a day doing absolutely nothing but breathing. your body with think you are starving which you are if you are only eating 100 calories and will slow all function to a crawl to make up for the lack of fuel. you could really hurt yourself.

I can tell you are very serious about losing some weight. Every doctor or other medically trained professional will tell you that what you are thinking is very unhealthy. However, I commend your resolve at dieting. If you need some help cutting back on calories, try eating some celery which actually burns calories in digestion. Hope this helps :).

Absolutely NOT!!!! Your body will go into starvation mode. This is extremely unhealthy and you will do serious damage to your body while screwing it up for good. Keep track of how many calories you normally consume for a few days, then cut back 250 calories/day. Do some form of exercise everyday for about 20-30 minutes. If you use/burn 500 calories per day, you will theoreticially lose 1 pound of fat per week (a pound =3500 calories) Small , healthy changes in diet + exercise will allow for healthy weight lost, not the sadist method of starving yourself. Good Luck

No, that is how an annorexic thinks.
You need to eat atleast 1500 calories a day to move.
You'll have no energy otherwise.
But if you eat things such as: tomatoes, peppers. They have little calories in them and are easily burnt off.
How an earth do you manage to eat 100 calories a day?
Don't do that to your body, the side affects will be drastic!

You probably want to think it over. As the 100 calorie diet may not give you enough energy to get going and about for the day. Your hormone, stress level may be affected plus you may not have enough to concentrate on your day-to-day business. I have been on drastic diet before, what I can see almost immediately was my nails turned brittle. Menstral cycle was also affected. In a nut shell, its all about balance, discipline and exercise.

I think that it is safe to say that such a diet is unhealthy. Your body needs more calories than that just to keep up the functions of breathing, pumping blood, digesting, even thinking. Just lying still in bed takes a few hundred calories.

no-your body needs those calories-if you stay on a 100 calorie-you'll be so tired and eventually collapsed. Your body will then start taking nutrients such as carbs and proteins it has stored to use it as energy. Basically then your body will start feeding on you. and after that your going to die. :D
I stick to a 1000 calorie diet, but i'm usually really lazy and i don't just eat 1000 on purpose-it just happens.

Well, that would mean you would be super thin, have NO energy, start doing bad in school, and ya. But if you want to have like 15 one hundred calorie meals, that would be fine. Because you need at least 1,500 calories a day. I personally dont think its worth it...
