The odds are REALLY GREAT that the fleas are now all over your house.
Murphy's Rule:
ALL kittens have fleas.
If you let a flea ridden kitten wander around your home, you will have fleas hiding ALL OVER your home!
The new kitten will ALWAYS share her fleas with the other animals and humans in the home!
The reason you still have fleas is this:
flea treatments kill the current batch of live fleas, but don't kill those flea eggs.
flea eggs hatch AFTER the treatment has dissipated!
The newly hatched fleas will attack your kittens AND YOU!
two bombs there as well.
OK... that's step 1
Next, wait 4 days & repeat the house bug bombing, but you
don't need to do it more heavy than recommended this time.
Repeat this at least 4 times. You should not have any more
problems. It does work... I did my home 5 or 6 times, but
I did NOT have to repeat, and it really
was fairly inexpensive.
KILL FLEAS IN YOUR YARD ALSO:
To kill fleas in your yard so they don't jump on your dog
or you outside and then come inside, sprinkLe Diazanon
granules all over the yeard. This kills fleas & ticks.
FOR NOT-SO-BAD INFESTATIONS:
Your pet(s) brought fleas into your home... so you need to treat
it at least twice to prevent re-infestation.
IF YOU CAN'T TOLERATE BUG BOMBS:
Below are websites that will tell you NATURAL ways to
control fleas and ticks on dogs and cats.
I've seen comments from people who have used Borax
& state that this works fine.
I also saw comments on lemon soaps and that sounded good.
I don't know which detergent is a lemon detergent but that
sounded like it had good potential.
Vacuuming doesn't work. It doesn't kill the fleas.

The bugs will certainly be in your house I'm afraid - it's just what fleas do, they live in the environment just as much as on your animal.
Don't panic - you haven't used a useful treatment yet, that's all. Flea baths are not great, neither are powders or collars. You need to pick up something from a vets like Fronltine or Revolution or Advantage - I recommend Frontline Plus because it kills flea eggs too, which few treatments do. This will keep them out of your house, although you need to spray your house first to kill the fleas currently residing their - Frontline Plus every 6 weeks will then keep them off your cat and out your house. These are spot-on treatments by the way - drops that go on the skin between the shoulder blades - I stress they must go on the SKIN, not the fur.
So don't panic, just go a vets and they'll sort you out some proper treatment.

You can't just give them a bath once. You also need to vacumn your house and wash all the bedding and the kittens' bedding too. And put a flea collar or some flea-kill drops inside your vacumn bag or they will just get out all over again when you vacumn them up.
I have found flea baths to be useless. Advantage is far superior and it kills not only the adult fleas but the flea cycle so it stops the eggs from hatching. BUT since she is so young, you must be cautious and consult a vet if it is OK to put on either of them. It could be toxic at their age so do consult your vet. And if you decide to go with something else, don't also bathe them in flea dip. It would be too much.

The flea cycle is very hard to break because they go through stages. I will tell you that flea collars, powders, bombs, etc are a waste of money and can harm you and your pet. The cycle is egg, lava, cocoon, to the flea. In the cocoon stage, the flea can lay dormant for up to 5 months before hatching! So I have found that frontline plus as the best source to kill the flea cycle. Once applied, it paralyzes the flea and it dies for the first two weeks and the next to weeks it just stunts the eggs that the other fleas release(did you know that an adult flea releases a egg every hour its life?) ( adult hood hits at 1week and an adult flea can live up to 7or more months!) A flea comb can help also, but isn't necessary. PLEASE don't buy over the counter types because they aren't the same thing...been there and tried it and it caused one of my cats to have seizures. I found a on line source of front line at a lower cost than what the vets carry...petshed.com...I own 9 cats (love them) and once moved into a house that was flea infested! I myself am allergic to fleas.

USually when they are 12 weeks old, it's bad if you give them flea baths because the chemicals in the soap might be too strong for them. If you want to get rid of the fleas just make sure you clean your house and everything that they come in contact with very clean. Try to get rid of all the dusts and hairballs and etc. If you want a solution, i suggest the frontline flea squeeze-ons or simply take your kittens to the vet and treat it.

Give them another back in kitten shampoo....with flea fighter. Get them both a flea colar. There's a good chance your house is infested but all you have to do is go get flea bombs at the store, set about 3 -4 of the off, be sure to take you kittens with you and no one is in the house....leave them going off for an hour or 2...just read the instructions, vaccumm and sweep well and clean countertops and all after the bombs are done and you should be okay. I've had it happen to me so this works as far as I know.

we had this same problem with my cat. vaccuum your house and give your cat Feline Advantage for kittens. it gets rid of fleas in about 24-48 hours.
as for the fleas in the house...fleas can not live very long at all without an animal to live on. shower daily, and in no time the fleas should be atleast 99% eliminated. dont let the kittens outside so that they dont get fleas again.

you are going to have to treat the cats again. even being treated about 7 - 10 days later you have to do it again as the ones you got off before left eggs behind. It may take a few treatments to get rid of them all. After treating the cats I would suggest if you have a carrier taking them and yourself away for a day and bombing your house. you can buy the flea bombs at a pet store or local walmart.

I got a really bad flea infestation when I went of vacation once. I used the bug bombs and then sprinkled this carpet powder that kills fleas under all the places the bug bombs couldn't reach. I haven't seen a single flea since. They also have a pill at your vet that you can give your cats that kills every flea that touches them and last for 48 hours.

Most likely you have the fleas in the carpet and furniture, etc..
I believe there is a flea treatment that your lovelies may be able to take orally. Talk with your vet. In the mean time bomb the house with fleas foggers.
Also put a flea collar in your vacume bag.
