Okay given that Noah was only told to take animals with him why did he take vines to make wine or indeed wine itself. Noah was not a good man he was the best of a bad bunch he was neither righteous nor virtuous and so there is a possibility he was an alcoholic. He knew his sons during this episode and to know in the biblical sense means to have sexual intercourse with. Given that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for this amongst other things will hopefully get you to question how bad the world had got and what sort of person Noah was.

Genesis is in the old testament my friend, not the new! Why do you ask this, I do not recall anything in the text to give the impression that Noah was any more than the average `tippler`. Have I missed something?

Somebody does not know their bible!
Genesis is not in the new testament of the bible, but its in the old testament! As for Noah being alcoholic, where did you get that idea from? There is no reference to him drinking the bible says that he was a man of god & that he lived by god's standards not man's so it will probably mean that he did drink, but not drink to a point where he was not in control of himself.

it was OK to drink wine or anything that Noah was drinking but on those days it was the real grape wine (in the bible GOD said that you can drink but not so much otherwise you become like idiot and do all kind of things you can't remember next day) no like today is fermented and is very bad for you, so it was OK,also on churches is not good idea to go to shops and buy the wine for the holy communion in some churches specially the orthodox they make there own wine from the grapes and is fresh.

The fact that he go totally wasted and woke up the next morning lying naked on the floor with a gigantic headache doesn't mean he was an alcoholic. He might just have been in college.

I mean, who *hasn't* done that in college?

He wasnt an alcoholic , he was a true man of God . The people in his time thought he was drunk when he was telling them about d flood befalling them , they refused to join in building the ARK of salvation which was an instruction given to Naoh by God , hence they all perished in d flood except Naoh and his household
