can a 19 year old get a way with wearing pig tails or is it kinda trashy at that age? i haven't worn them since i was maybe 16 and am kinda in the mood for pigtails...just wondering what kind of message i would be sending with them

You can wear pigtails anytime in your life! Of course, when grandma does it everyone thinks she's crazy, but she does what she wants!
I think that the general rule is that the lower you were the pigtails on your head the more mature you look. No matter where you wear pigtails on your head you will still look young and cute, but you're 19! You could probably still get away with wearing them on the top of your head if you want. Especially if you're blonde and attractive.

eh I don't think pigtails look good on anyone past the age of 10...unless it's for a costume

i might be yough but trust me i have a sisters that 28 and she is very mature she wear pigtails i think they are cute but dont wear them high and in front i wear em in back and low and everyone says they are nice and dont wear a serious outfit with them and dont wear a kiddy outfit, wear a dress or jeans and shirt with them, I like em and do it if you think people are gonna joke around about you forget them and be yourself and btw beleiv in your self dont depend on other peoples thinking okay? do it okay? later

There are a lot of girls that I go to school with (I am in grad. school so they are older) who still wear pig tails at times. I think it looks stupid and childish.

i like them I wear them a lot but then again i'm 17.I say if u like them screw everybody else.what mesage will it be sending it depends on what your wearind if u'r wear like a kiddie outfit it makes look like u;r trying to be a kid really hard.Anything else i might say dress down ish and having a lazy day
