No, the masons and the skull&bones are not the same, but they have similarities. The skull and bones society is based at yale for prominent seniors. Many presidents or political leaders who attended yale belonged to the brotherhood. While the s&b have mosonic rituels, the freemasons are a world-wide group that share moral and metaphysical beliefs and teach moral ascension and ethical beliefs.

No. They are two very different organizations. Skull and Bones is unique to Yale University, whereas Freemasonry is worldwide. The only commonality is that both groups are often mentioned in conspiracy theories, and it's said that some of the Skull and Bones rituals were inspired by Masonry. Masonry significantly pre-dates Skull and Bones.

The Masons are a more diverse group of men who get together to drink beer and wear funny hats.
