and i need ways to deal with it! how do you deal with stress?

I deal with stress by taking a few deep breaths and then plunge into the problem with fists flying. That is, if something is a stressor, it means there is an undesirable condition caused by something you don't know how to control, or there is something you are afraid of that is facing you.

The best way to get over fear is to face it and tackle it. You might not succeed the first time, but you will at least learn more about the nature of the obstacle and you'll be better able to wear it down instead of it wearing you down.

If there's something that is causing you stress because you don't know how to control it, sit down and really think about the situation or the problem. Think about what you can change to eliminate it.

An example would be money--I think everyone at some time has been stressed about money. It might seem like this huge monster of a problem, but it really is a matter of math--spend less than you make. It might take some lifestyle adjustments to do that, but it is possible.

In any case, sit down and think about the problems. It might help to write it down and then list under it the possible solutions to it with each solution's pro and con.

And remember, someone somewhere has gone through what you are going through. Do some research and find out what other people have done for their specific problems. The library is full of books on every facet of life you could possibly think of.

personally I use meditation, you might want to check into a stress management class where you can learn several different ways to alter the way you respond to various stressors.
