Nice fight but Burley is naturaly bigger than Leonard and I would give the edge to Burley by UD. Never seen Burley fight but from what I read and from what Eddie Futch said about him and plus how he beat Archie Moore 3 times and Sugar Ray Robinson dodged him. Got to give it to him. Might be different if I seen fights of Burley.

I'd have to say Leonard takes this one and be different from everyone else. Burley was a very good defensive fighter and a slickster, but he could also box you and get rough with you, but Leonard was faster and just as slick, and his tactics of winning rounds with flurries and movement could frustrate even Burley. Leonard by close decision, could be wrong.

I am Joshua Mbngo Dmbungo TONGUE-CLICK Jnr. Jnr. Burley. He was one of the few fighters in history who could be said was MORE ring smart than Leonard. Also, as for him not having much power I disagree. He couldn't have defeated the iron chinned, heavy-handed Archie Moore without a good punch. Archie Got up plenty of times against The Rock, it takes some kind of fighter to hurt him. Burley knocked down Moore 4 times in a ten round fight. As tough as Leonard was he could never take a blow from Rocky and beat the count, so Burley has more than enough to KO Leonard. I also don't think Leonard has the power to KO Burley who went the distance with Ezzard Charles, who clean KO'd Moore in one less round than it took Marciano. I wasn't aware Burley fought at Welter, but his best days were definitely at middle and light heavyweigt. I think Leonard's sheer tenacity may keep him in this, but I see Burley stopping Leonard in a cagey fight. Not one for the casual fan, but a feast for the conoseurs. TONGUE-CLICK!

Burley. Ray was the man at 147, not 160.

I think there is only one fight tape of Burley. has anybody seen it? If Burley could beat the great Archie Moore, little Leonard would want no part of him!
