what they are looking for on your credit report is if you have been abusive, irresponsible, did a bankruptcy or went thru a company to solve your debts, or if you owe on your student loans. Sometimes too they check to see how often you moved.

I'm encharged of doing all the credit/background checks on everyone who starts with my company. I can tell you that this most likely will not have any effect whatsoever on you chance of getting the job. I know that here in my office we just want to make sure you aren't extremely behind and delinquent on a lot of stuff. One month or so it completely acceptable espeicially if you aren't in collections. Good luck with getting the job!!

no, you should be fine
paying late is OK, it does show you pay.
They are looking for how much debt do you have, and will the job you are getting be helpful in reducing that debt.
If not, then they have problems, as they may think you would steal to pay some of that debt.

I think they are only concerned about "big issues". Would you steal from the company to pay your debts? That's what they want to know.

they are more concerned with charge offs and efforts to prosecute you for big accounts owed. u should be ok. it depends on their criteria which should be spelled out somehwere.
