Every city has a different tax so this question is impossible to answer without knowing first where you are.

It depends on what state you live in.

In Pennsylvania, state tax is 6%, so the total would be $25.91
(Formula: $24.44 x .06 = $1.47 + $24.44 = $25.91)

Just switch your state tax with the .06 and calculate it.

Where are you purchasing it? If NH or OR, the total is $24.44.

it all depends on what it is and where you buy it. If it's pre made food there's tax - but if its groceries - it's not. Also it depends on what state you are in as well as the county. So for an accurate answer you'd have to say what county and state you are in and what it is you are buying.
