There's a lot of hate for blondes and skinny people these days, so many people claim they are fake and unattractive. I'm a naturally skinny, naturally blonde person and I'm starting to feel bad about myself just cuz i have a certain hair color and body type. I feel like some people look at me and assume I'm a bleached anorexic.

Is this just revenge for all the time the media glamorized this type?

Why is it not possible to embrace different looks without cutting someone else down?

It's not impossible...you just have to take the good with the bad. The opinions of other people shouldn't matter to you. If they have any character, they will get to know you before judging you. Celebrate your good looks, don't downplay them just because you might get some negative reactions

No one should judge you by the way you look. The media seem to think and put across the idea that if your skinny and blonde then something isnt all trust which I dont understand.

I got a friend who is a natural blonde and is naturally skinny,a size 0 in the USA and size 4 in the Uk. But she's happy and very healthy.

If anyone is giving you greif because of the way you look then just dont listen. They are probulaly jealous or think its funny to cut others down. Just dont listen and walk away. Show them that you are proud of the way you look. You know the truth and if others wouldn't see or believe it then just...thats their problem.

Of course it isn't bad. You shouldn't feel bad for just being yourself, whatever people think about you at their first glance is not at all important either. Actually I'm quite sure people don't look down on you, the type you describe is still considered to be attractive for some reason. Of course being skinny is often associated with anorexia and that has been discussed and brought to the people a lot lately, which made them aware of the extent of that problem and for that reason it may be true people look at you with certain thoughts. But you shouldn't care about those thoughts of strangers, you yourself know whether you eat healthy or not, why should you care about the thoughts of others about that?

I think beauty is not in someone's hair color nor in someone's waistlength at all, for me outer beauty is all in someone's attitude and face expression. I think the world is getting sick of people who try to be someone they're not by receiving make-overs and other things of the like. People should stop looking at others and just be who they are, they shouldn't be afraid to show and express themselves without worrying about other people's thoughts and reactions. If they did worry, they would just live another life by constantly trying to be someone only others want them to be. That must be really tiresome and besides, it also gives you fake friends who don't like you but the person you're trying to pretend to be. ;)

Who cares about what happens to you, other than your good self and those that know you in the real world, what are we on Y/A suppose to do if you go tripping all over the place. Do you seriously imagine you can put things in peoples head or make up ridiculous situation because you want to be remembered or remind someone of something, go get real and think of intelligent fulfilling things to do that is beneficial to you and your community, rather than some stupid nonsense about anorexic blonde who falls down - so what - big deal.

Yes, it is media's fault. It's all the idiots that we are being shown on tv.
If you are naturally slim and blond just ignore the hype.
I've lived most my life being a plus sized brunette and living with the media telling me that there was something wrong with me. That I was unattractive and ugly. To the right person you will be perfect. Try not to let what the world thinks get you down.

You could say that. All brunettes of a normal weight were made to feel ugly ever since I can remember. All the princesses were the fair haired maiden. So now I guess the shoe is on the other foot. It is a stereo-type, and it is not a nice one for anyone regardless of hair color or body size. Do not let anyone stop your star from shining brightly.

Maybe its because I am a skinny guy with brownish-blonde hair and blonde highlights, but I face the same problems.

My reaction is different though. I take it as a sign others are just jealous because of my looks and sense of style. A lot of my female friends and ex girlfriends seem to like it. Be who you are, and do not change because other people are jealous.

Don't feel bad about yourself. Original is always worth more than the copy. Make sure you are an individual and stand for your beliefs and style. Just don't be a victim of the "Blonde-Skinny" Stereotypes because of what you do.

I always say, ignore people who don't like you.

Everyone is part of a popular, then unpopular body type, hair color, skin color, etc. throughout their lives. Don't be so thin-skinned that it matters to you what shallow people think (shallow: stuck on what people look like instead of what's inside).

Go with Martin Luther King on this one--judge people by the 'content of their character' and make sure your friends, coworkers, and even your hairstylist does the same, or get new ones.

It was the same way people think brunettes and are uptight alot or fat people are lazy and it is not necessary true.

It is mostly the media that gives the perception of blondes. People should embrace other people and not be rude.

As long as you like urself you shouldn't care what other people think.
