find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

To lose weight requires a lot more than just picking the right foods. You have to consume fewer calories than you take in. If you only burn 1200 calories in a day but eat 1500 calories, that's a surplus of 300 calories which the body will store in fat cells.

Exercise is one way to burn more calories in a day. Watching what you eat only decreases the caloric intake. The two together will lead to weight loss.

Choose all the food labelled 'low fat' in the supermarkets, whether it be sausages, bacon, soup, spreads, milk, bread - all foods have a low fat option these days.

Cycle to the shops as often as you can instead of taking the car - you'll soon start to lose weight surprisingly quickly.
