The Bible clearly states that fools say there is no God. (Psalm 14:1 & Psalm 53:1)
Therefore, according to the Bible, Atheists=Fools. Here is what the Bible says about fools:
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes
(Proverbs 12:15)
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
(Proverbs 19:1)
Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
(Proverbs 23:9)
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
(Proverbs 26:4)
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous [there is] favour.
(Proverbs 14:9)
He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
(Proverbs 13:20)
We aren't going to change them Christians. They are just going to continue in their ways. So why do we do it?
...it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
(Proverbs 13:19)

I myself was a longtime Athiest and I am grateful for the people in my life who kept asking me the same questions over and over again. I am now walking with the lord and I now continue to ask the Athiests the same questions again, and again, and again. All it takes is that one time to change a persons life and allow them a chance to find God. I dont spend all of my time chasing Athiests around but I dont ignore the fact that they to can change at any given time. Dont ever give up on someone. God is more loving and forgiving than we could ever be - he wants all of his children to accept him and love him. Some people just need more attention and we must be persistant to save everyone we can from the Devil. In fact the Devil made you ask this question

Can Atheists read? No, they need to convince themselves they are right at every turn so they answer every question with "There is no god" and the like. It means nothing, as you said, it's only fools talking.
About the first part, we do it because I'd like to think that we care for them. A lot of Atheists truly do think they're right, but that's because they haven't seen anything contrary. But to go on like this, all the time, is ridiculous, some don't even say anything other then "There is no god" to any question.

i comprehend what you mean the fault lies with their lack of ability to respond to the actuality Stalin equipped a regime on a warped version of Karl Marx's philosophies that have been impractical besides . although Stalin did some very gruesome issues he additionally did loads of sturdy that the Christians hadn't like bringing time-honored wellness care to the human beings for the 1st time in Russia . They in no way verify out the total image in basic terms their narrow view of unreality . it relatively is a symptom of the affliction call Christianity . the least complicated thank you to work out while you're being blocked is to sign out and refresh if the question seems you already know that guy or woman blocked you . then you somewhat can sign into yet another account he does not have blocked and answer him besides .

Dear saved by grace,
First Proverbs is a wonderful book that gives us wisdom and talks about the character traits of people whose lives are either characterized by the righteousness of God or the unrighteousness of having God in their lives.
i think your point is well taken that in some instances we should not cast pearls to those who would not recieve it. And in some cases- it just leads to arguments that are pointless.
That being said- i have to say that everyone saved by grace- was a fool before. And the point of not engaging in pointless arguments is not the sake of not wasting time- but is the sake of not giving a non-believer an arrogant unwise impression of a believer.
The point i'm trying to make is that there are those who are once foolish (against God) who have turned to God and i think if your heart is to give people a chance to know God-- why not take that chance. Wisdom knows when to quit however.
For me i'll share Christ with all my non-believing friends. The ones who just want to mock Christ and not engage in intelligent conversation i will disengage or just accept that they have a differing point of views- but the ones who you can engage in conversation- i think the Holy Spirit opens opportunities that can produce a harvest of righteousness.
Colossians tells us to let our words always be seasoned with grace that we would know how to answer those who are outside. In other words- the idea is not to change their minds- the idea is just to show them and tell them the truth of Jesus and use wisdom to determine how to continue or discontinue the conversation.
Kindly.

Wait, let me rephrase that: Chistians, can't you figure out that when you're snortin' and snuffin' from the pulpit, and slamming non-believers over and over with Chapter and verse..that that bible just looks like a crutch? It's like belief in the book vs. belief in yourself and your fellow man.
Don't you know that MEN wrote the bible, and several
good books were chucked out in the editing and translation?
What's wrong with the Apocrypha? Just didn't make the cut...huh?So....NOT the word of God, 'coz some commitee decided it?
Don't you get it that Mary lied to save her life, because
she didn't want to be stoned to death in the town square since that was the penalty for pregnancy out-of-wedlock at the time? And it's appropriate that a woman smart enough to save her own life would give us a prophet and teacher smart enough to help save us all? Thank you Mary ,Joseph, and Jesus..good work!
Can't you figure out that what Jesus said was.."I AM"....
IS...IS the way, the truth and the life. ..and the word IS was
deleted for political purposes, to make us Slaves to God and organized religion? Without the word IS, the quote simply
means "Be Here Now"... the same he used before..."I am that I am." Before he was crucified Pilate or Herod (help me Christians) asked. "Are you King of the Jews? Are you the Messiah?" His answer..."That's what you say." He was the humble son of a carpenter. He never asked for all this attention.
If you were an important teacher, a spiritual warrior, but politically in-correct in your own time, and were sentenced
to death by hanging, and you could come back for the rapture, would you want to see everyone wearing little "noose necklaces?" How would you feel about a gallows erected at every church created in your memory. God is love, why must Christians feel so continuosly guilty for Christ's Death? Is like making every German continue to wear a Swastika.
Don't you know that the bumper sticker/slogan
"Christians Aren't Perfect..Just Forgiven" is the most arrogant, exclusionary,self-serving, condescending piece of tripe I've ever been asked to consider? Help me out here, Super Atheist!..by the way I love all mankind, even the fools.
I'm just not a member of "Club Med-Heaven". Until Christians
can embrace all religions, include all, with forgiveness, they shouldn't even come to the debate...and if you do weigh in, Christian, leave your bible, your pride, and your bumper stickers at home.

It is far better to seek out those who genuinely are looking for God and His answers to their questions.
It is sad, but many of the unbelievers I have come across here on Y.A get in the spiritual category mainly to start an argument and then degrade Christians.
I look at it this way
God says not to cast pearls before swine for them to trample under their feet. God's Word was never meant to be thrown to those that will not listen and trample His word under their feet. It is for those who are seeking not those who do not seek. You can't witness to those who are hard hearted and closed minded.
Christians need to expect pagans and heathens to make such derogatory remarks considering, who they are following.
It is best to let them walk there own way. They will one day find themselves on their knees sooner or later to the One that sits on the Throne.

Personally I find it foolish to rely so heavily on a text that only gives itself as an authority reference.
Religion was started so that people could explain the unexplainable. Christianity is just one of thousands such mythological beliefs. There is no reason to believe any one religion is somehow more authoritative than any other one.
Atheists believe none of them are authoritative in any way. Agnostics believe that some may have some authority but none tell the whole truth.

Here is what I think...
Let people believe what they want to beleive and let God show them the way. All of the arguements quoting the bible don't mean anything to atheists because they don't believe in the bible! Let people discover on their own and if they don't chose this path, there is no reason why they can't take a different path to get to the same place...

Atheists don't beleive in the Bible so that quote won't mean anything. We need to see to belive, not belive in what some old guys wrote 500 some years ago. They could've been on holy weed and jesus was a figment of the imagination.
