No anti-semitism intended. I have a love and fondness for the Jews, whom I have many friends. This question is aimed at bible-believers, like myself, who just want to serve God.

Pure and simple, he led by example. He also knew what leadership meant when he said "He who is greatest among you, let him be your servant." Leaders are meant to serve, not be served.

Do you mean to tell me that all Jewish servants are not capable of leading? (is this a racial derogatory statement?
However I think your original question of "what made Jesus a great leader" is a great question. And I have no good answers.

He was a great leader because he knew what his purpose was on this earth and never once did he waiver from fulfilling it!
Also, he taught in love. Not with religious prestige. Not with condemnation. But with love, forgiveness and authority!
