Psychic In Need...?

Question

I have had psychic abillites since childhood and I have developed a strength and wish to work as an online psychic since I don't speak clearly for live readings. I've been in speech therapy since grade school and most people outside my family can't understand me. Does anyone know of a legitemit network that I can apply to? This would really help me since my gift is my life's work and I feel I strong need to help others and answer questions that only I can.

I'm sorry, but if you truly believe that you do, you've simply managed to con yourself into believing.

Can't you find something legitimate to do instead? Someone based in reality?

There is no such thing as a legitimate psychic hotline.


It is not a gift. Anyone can learn to be a "psychic" through practicing the technique of "cold reading." It's a skill, and one has to work at it to get good, but that does not mean there is any such thing as psychic ability. You are making guesses about the future (educated guesses) that occasionally turn out to be right, so you're counting those. Our minds tend to remember when we're right and forget when we're wrong.

There are two reasons television psychics appear to do well. One is creative editing, cutting out most of their wrong guesses. Another is that people tend to reveal more information than they think they do, and also certain traits are more common than people think.

For instance, if a psychic asks about a relative whose name starts with 'M,' you can bet there is one in every audience. Several, most likely. If someone's parent recently died (parents tend to die because they are old), then there is usually a dispute over money. This is an easy thing to guess because it's almost always true.

And if you're predicting personality traits, you'll almost always be right because nearly everyone has at least a hint of most personality traits, at some time or another.



I know you probably feel you are really psychic, but you're probably tricking yourself because it's something you *want* to believe. Life will be easier if you can admit the truth.

I work at a site where we do voluntary readings , and there are development classes and an opportunity to teach and help in that way
also if you wish to go through the development classes there is an opportunity to work as an email reader etc
but unsure if you wish to commit to classes etc first though

they are very wary about who they allow to read , due to many bad readers and those who wont follow guidelines and legal requirements

so if it is something you are willing to do somewhere down the line i can help ( get in touch )

You had me until you used the word "legitimate". I had all sorts of suggestions for you, but since you wish to become a practicing psychic, by definition none of them are legitimate.
