I have noted this several times. Could it be that some folks do not like others asking for prayer? If so, how sad......

I had only one prayer request deleted......but note many other folk's requests are deleted. I wonder if a muslim or a hindu asked for prayer if they would be deleted. Or if an atheist asked for emotional help........would they be deleted?? There is a definite double standard here. Prayer requests are QUESTIONS, and the reader can answer or not. This does meet the criteria put forth.....sorry to offend those who differ.

My very good friend died a month ago and I put a prayer on here for his family and children. It was deleted in about 4 hours. Go for it though, I got 12 prayers in before it was gone. BTW: Ill pray for your friend for their surgery on the 23rd.

I THINK that they might consider it "soliciting" someone to do something. I noticed this before, and I checked the rules to see if there was a clue and it was the only thing I saw that could be construed as a reason.

No, for the hundredth time it's because this isn't a prayer section. It's a section to ask questions. I don't care that people ask for prayers but it's against the rules. So if people don't want them deleted then they should follow the rules. Oh and what really gets me is they decide what rules they want to enforce.

Honestly, the carnal flesh twitches at prayer because it forces sins to be cleaved and holiness to make way. And the man-made rules of the world make prayer impossible for this victory to happen. If it cannot be done on Y!A so be it. It can't stop my prayer life from moving forward. Can't stop my praise and worship. Thanks for asking. God Bless You!

No, it's because it's not actually asking a question. Go to a prayer request Christian message board for that.

because it's against the rules and the yahoo nazis try to delete the christian prayer requests before god sees the questioners breaking rules and sends them to hell

It is seen as chatting by Yahoo. Many of us got violations for responding to a regular that was in the hospital.

because god didn't want them to not be deleted.
If god wanted them to stay, he wouldn't have allowed them to be deleted.
Thus he thought your prayer requests were insulting as they were made on a message board and not in a house of worship.
you are able, not cain.
Now go find some good fruit and goats to offer to god not meaningless internet babble.

Could it been something much more mundane, like perhaps being against TOS??? NAW!!!!!!!
This is a place to ask questions, not solicit prayers.
