I always like to play it safely when driving , however sometimes aggressive drivers get me.

Whats the correct action when someone is aggressively almost sweeping u off the the lane ?

Stand your grounds and let them correct their path?
or just slow down and get out of the way ?

I'm tempted for the first option at times , but reason tells me to go for the second .

Which is correct ?

You should know which one is the right answer, maybe you feel like they speed over you as an aggressive action but you cant realize that your driving is slow or bad, or something like that. so, you got to see all options. I kind of drive fast when im by myself and I dont mean to be aggressive, its just the way I drive and I cant miss speeding over G-ma going 10 mph in the freeway. dont take it all personal, thats not cool, I've had people hit my car when driving, I dont take it personal, I mean at the end they will pay for the damage so its all cool.
Just be cool in the streets.

To answer your question: what is your life worth. Is it worth dying to prove you were right? Nothing on the road, no matter how mad it makes you is worth dying over. Be like the Shaolin monk, Kwai Chang Caine in Kung Fu - know when to turn the other cheek and when to fight.

Remember, the aggressive drivers get their just due eventually. I remember having a State Trooper behind me in an unmarked green Camaro. I moved over and let him pass then moved back into the passing lane. I had some aggressive idiot zoom up behind me in a Escalade and flash his high beams so I moved over and let him zoom past. He did the exact same thing to the Camaro, flashed his high beams and zoomed past. The Camaro let him by then moved back into the passing lane, put on his flashers and pulled the aggressive (and obviously stupid) driver over. I pumped my fist into the air and said "YES!". He who laughs last, laughs best!

Why would you get in someone elses way if you know they are in a hurry and you are not? You are the one not being safe when you ask this. Maybe there's a reason that this happens to you.... unless you are in the right lane and have nothing else to do but slow down, you are wrong!

I will stand my grounds on some occassions. If they are tailgating I will hit the brakes. Generally they will back off or go around me. For the most part I will pull over and let them go by and hope for a cop to be up ahead. I love driving by after they get pulled over and just wave. :) Pisses them off.

My personal favorite was when I was driving 5 over and someone tailgated and then passed me in the other lane. So I waited until I approached them at the next light, waved to them from my window so I was sure they saw me then kept driving. :)

Stay away from them. They are already agitated about something or have some kind of emergency at home or where ever. They be armed, or will use their car as a weapon. Avoid them but do get their license plate number and report it to police if they are driving dangerously

avoid them its not worth you getting in an accedent or hurt in one let the idiot driver have his way and one day his bad driving will catch up to him I just hope it doesn't hurt someone in the process

Keep out of the way! It's cheaper and less risky.

You're morally in the right either way.
