At 26 years old, you are able to date anyone 18-118. Women today have been know to date men 20, 30,&40+ years their senior. If I were single, I would probably not date someone more than 10-12 years older, but I think the older the female, the greater is the acceptable difference. For example: A 20 year old dating a 40 years old is a great difference, but a 30 yr old old dating a 50 year old is not that great of a difference. They are more alike than the 20 & 40 yr olds.

I'm 16 and my bf is 10 years older than me and we're very happy after a year together. I've dated a 39 yo (with a fantastic body and personality) but to be honest when I'm in my 20s I don't think I would go over 40. My man needs to be able to keep up with me. At the end of the day it's what he's like as a person that matters...you might find an exceptional 45 yr old or an amazing 18 yr old and be very happy with either.

My girlfriend is 26 and I'm 33. I do look young for my age since I don't a single line on my face or eyes, but I'm losing my hair so that balances that. I'm in good physical condition since I lift weights. I'm gonna guess you're the older guy here. If your over 40 it's maybe maybe not. If you are young at heart and fun then why not. Women are not as shallow as we are or are at least differently shallow.

When I was 39 I was dating a woman who was 26. We had been together for about 6 years. It all depends on your common interests and what each of you are looking for in a relationship. I've been told I look young for my age so that may help too.

It truly relies upon on the persons. i know some human beings of their 30's that look closer to 50, and then some 37 year olds that still look like 25 and act youthful. some 26 year olds look older for their age, and a few ought to nevertheless bypass for being an adolescent. If the greater youthful guy replaced into mature for their age, and the girl replaced into youthful for their age, it could be wonderful, regardless of the indisputable fact that it could be truly mismatched if the 26 year previous replaced into immature and the 37 year previous replaced into mature and appeared truly of course older

there is no age gap when it comes to being attracted to someone for whatever the reason you have gotten attracted. i would say there is a fine line if you plan to have children as it is a bit hard on a child to have one parent 20 years older than the other but they get used to it. The couple just needs to realize that the span will mean compromises as far as things that people of their ages do and will do.

It would depend on what the girl was interested in. Obviously some women have no problem dating men who could be their father. I would probably go no more than 10-12 yrs older than myself.

That's a cultural issue. Nowadays men tend to be visibly older than their girl friends.
I'd say there is no broblem if he is 6 years older than you (even 10-12 if he looks fit).
