What you are asking I don't believe can be answered very simply and a person understand unless it is given to them by God.

First let me say I am not oneness. Because people think I am when I give scriptures, they tend to look as though I say what oneness say. We know that the Bible mentions Father, Son, and Holy Ghost at different times throught the word. Jesus is the completion of the Godhead. I only lay out the word of God. It is our guide, what we live by. I will try to show what the Bible says. There are a lot of scriptures. I tell you where they are at in the Bible. What I am giving you is out of the King James Version. It will take some studying of the word of God.

Colossians 2:9
1 John 5:7
Matthew 16:16
Luke 1:35
Matthew 1:20-23
Revelation 21:23
Mark 12:29
John 5:18
John 10:30
John 14:6-26*
John 17:11&21
John 20:28
Matthew 28:18-201
Timothy 3:16
John 5:43
Philippians 2:6-11
Acts 22:16
Isaiah 44:6
Revelation 22:13
John 1:1 & 1:14
Revelation 19:13
John 17:5
1 John 2:23
Zechariah 14:19
Isaiah 9:6*

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the goverment shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah said Jesus was The mighty God and The everlasting Father.

This scripture in Isaiah 9:6 and John chapter 14 I believe are some of the best answers for your question. All the scriptures I have given you can help you with your question. It will take a lot of studying and revelation from the Lord if you are really interested in find out.

1 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I hope through the studying of these scripture you'll receive the revelation of who Jesus is. The fullness of the Godhead is in him bodily.

Col 2:9 reveals that "In Him ( Jesus Christ) dwells all of the fullness of the GODHEAD ( Father, Son and Spirit) bodily.

The thing which makes this whole matter a mystery is that we most easily accept and recognize that there is the Father, Son and Spirit in the God head.. but understanding that God is triune is a not so easy to take. And to compound it more and say that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ?

In His essential essence God is simple.. He is the Father . Son and Spirit.. but in the way He works... how He carries out His plan is complicated and hard to trace. For instance
THe Lord Jesus was conceived by the HOly Spirit.... but it is God the Father who is His Father. So really.. Who is His Father?
When we are saved.. we all know that the Holy Spirit who regenerates us and indwells us. Yet 2 COr 3:17 says." Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the SPirit of the Lord is there is liberty"

When the Lord Jesus was speaking to the Disciples in John 14:23.. telling them that He was going away..he said that the Holy Spirit.. the comforter would come to them...but in this verse He pulled the Father into the mix and said " ...BUt if anyone loves Me., he will keep My word and My Father will love Him and WE will come to Him and make an abode with him."
what is this???
These verses clearly indicate that Christ and the Father are One ..that together AS the Spirit they indwell man.
The Father IN the Son AS the Spirit indwelling and making all the rich experiences of Christ available to us in our regenerated human spirit.

First of all, there is no explanation regarding the Holy Trinity.

From the bible we have Matt 28:19: This clearly talks about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Christian belief of the Holy Trinity is three persons in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It does not say Jesus is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

There is a second belief: Jesus is both man and God. Jesus as a man is a son of God.

Next time, try to learn the Christian beliefs before making statements about them.

When God created man, he made a 1) body from the elements of the earth, he breathed into it a 2) spirit, and it became a living 3) soul. (See genensis 2:7)

So man is in three parts, each working in a different realm or area. The body in the physical, the soul (which is the mind, will and emotions) in the mental, and the spirit in the spiritual realm where it communicates with God. Yet each of them is just as much "you" as any of the others.

So God also appears in all three realms. In the spiritual (heavenly) realm, he is called God the Father. The in physical realm he appeared as Jesus, God the Son. And in the soul realm he dwells in the hearts of men as God the Holy Spirit. Each is just as much "God" as any of the others. They merely work in different realms.

So how could Jesus be both God and the Son of God? That is explained in Philippians 2:5-11. It says that Jesus existed as God, but that he choose to lay that aside for a time. He became a servant made in the form of a man - Jesus Christ. In the form he was the son of God because God the Father was responsible for conceiving his physical form. But also in the sense that in the Bible, a person was not a "son" until he came of age and was ready to take over his father position. Jesus did that at the age of 30 when he began his public ministry. He took up his Father's work as a Son.

So, while Jesus is God, ihe is NOT the Father or the Holy Spirit. Any more than you body is your mind or your spirit. But your body is still "you". So Jesus is God. But God the Son.

Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In Genesis, God says "let US create man in OUR image" - Plural.

John 1 - In the beginning was the Word and the word was God............the 'Word' referring to Christ.

Jesus also said, "I and the Father are One".

The Holy Spirit is usually the confusing one.

In Acts, Jesus said he was sending a helper (Holy Spirit). if the trinity is correct, then Jesus sent himself already....so the second coming mysteriously already came and went. But if Jesus sent himself, then how is it that Jesus said he did not know the day or hour of his return, only God knows. But if Jesus was God, the Jesus lied.
Maybe Jesus is Jesus and God is God and Spirit is Spirit.
Perhaps they are one in purpose.

Jesus was the expressed image of God. He was born of man and flesh to die on Calvary. God can not die because he is a spirit, the creator. Therefore, he had to manifest himself into human form to complete his promise.
When people speak of Jesus being the Son of God they are viewing it with human minds and intellect.

One God, three persons within that one God.

People have spent their whole lives trying to wrap their minds around the mystery of the trinity. I doubt yahoo answers can do it for you in a few posts.

One shamrock with three distinct leaves.

Water can be steam, liquid, or ice but it's still water.

Jesus is the actual word that God spoke in creation. Jesus is that word made flesh. The spirit is the breath of God breathing life.

Islam views Jesus as a prophet/messenger like Moses, Noah, David,..etc. He being sent by god to mankind to spread the message from god.

He is not god, he never mention it in bible that he is god. He act like a man and not like god.
He was born from miracle birth but he is not god.
