"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
The Gospel of the Bible in a nut shell is that:
We are all sinners
Jesus was born of a Virgin
Jesus died for our sins
Jesus is the only way to Heaven, not works
Jesus is God
The mormons do not teach this, from what I understand. Therefore wouldn't that be "Any other Gospel"

Dane:
It sounds like a different Gospel when mormons say that God was once mortal, and that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are seprate beings that form the Godhead.
From my reading of the Bible, God was never a mortal, he has always existed, and that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
exist as one God in three persons or in the Greek hypostasis. The three are co-equal and co-eternal, a single Divine essence

Sound like you and Dane don’t agree on what mormons believe about works. I believe like Dane does, works are part of being saved but don’t make you saved. In saying that Jesus is not God because we can’t totally understand the Trinity is no reason to find scripture that mentions Jesus talking to himself? God can do anything he wishs. There is plenty scriptures that say that Jesus and God are one.

Galatians 1:8 is what lead me out of the church. My Great grand mother died. On the way to the funeral My mom talk about Galatians 1:8. during the funeral this was going though my mind. The funeral was in a Mormon church. That night demon attack me. I couldn't speck or move. first I said I believe in angels. The demon left for few minutes. then attack me again. I thought of Jesus Christ on the cross. I was free from the demon also the Mormon Church. I found that Jesus love me

Why is it you think that anything told anyone by an angel is wrong?
Did you ever read all of Galatians? Read all of Galatians, and compare it to Acts 15, and then tell me that this verse is talking about anything but what PAUL said; the gospel of circumcision vs. the gospel of uncircumcision.
In fact, read that verse again, CAREFULLY.
But tho WE (who is WE? WE includes the speaker, which is Paul. WE means the apostles) or (EVEN) an angel from heaven (angels are God's messengers, they bring messages from GOD) preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you (see above) let him be accursed.
Paul was telling the Galatians not to follow SOME of the apostles who believed that the Gentiles must first become Jews to become Christian.
>>We are all sinners (We fully believe this)
Jesus was born of a Virgin (We fully believe this)
Jesus died for our sins (we fully believe this)
Jesus is the only way to Heaven, not works (faith without works is dead)
Jesus is God (Jesus is part of the Godhead, but He is not Heavenly Father)<<
Yes, we do teach this. Not what some anti-Mormons tells you we teach.
Our works are not the ONLY thing that gets us into heaven. Think about this. If we BELIEVE in heaven in teh first place, then we also believe in Christ. If we didn't believe in Christ, we wouldn't believe in heaven. Therefore, how can we work, without faith in Christ, to get to a place we wouldn't believe in the fist plass, it is weren't for God?
We don't know if God was once a man. Jesus was a man.
And how is it not Christian to believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and teh Holy Ghost are three different persons? How could they all be one person?
>>It sounds like a different Gospel when mormons say that God was once mortal, and that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are seprate beings that form the Godhead.<<
This is from the creeds, not from the Bible.
We are saved by grace, and judged on our works.
And when you say "There is plenty scriptures that say that Jesus and God are one." tell me.
One What?

There is no point in attempting to answer this question as your mind is not really into it, neither is your heart.
You types always ask the exact same question and no matter how it is answered you always argue the same point. As soon as your initial argument is put down you move to another. Example Galatians 1:8 reads the same as Deuteronomy which was written during the time of the law of moses. We know the law of moses was done away with in Jesus Christ so does this then mean that what Christ taught was another Gospel?
Your questions are written only to cause discrimination and contempt against a certain people and by that very nature are not appropriate here. They are also argumentative. I noticed you seem to ask a lot of questions (more statements than questions really) about LDS beliefs. If you have disagreement with the Church thats fine, but you really should focus your life on what does make you happy rather than spending your time dwelling on a negative focus you have created for yourself around the LDS faith. Go and be happy with what you believe.
Let me paraphrase another scripture from the bible for you, it says by their fruits ye shall know them as to whether they be of God or of the Devil.
Have a nice day..

I believe all those things as a Mormon. We do not believe that our works alone will merit eternal life. We do believe that through works we can develop the faith necessary to be saved by Jesus. A scripture in the Book of Mormon says "for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." Through my studies of the Bible, I believe that is what is taught in there. As Mormons aren't the only religion that works, although not saving in themselves, are necessary, it can't be said that is a different gospel. That's based on interpretation.
I hope that answers your question
Edit: I think John 17 is a great example of our belief of the trinity. They are one in purpose, not being. Again, a matter of interpretation.
And Jesus said that he doesn't do anything that he hasn't seen the Father do. Wouldn't that being born and receiving a body? Again a matter of interpretation.
I don't see any contradictions. I hope that clears things up.
Have a great day

What did Paul teach in Galatians?
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This words of Paul could have been echoed by Joseph Smith. Paul preached that the gospel had to be revealed by Christ and not a man or an angel. This is why we have living prophets and additional scripture.
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

1. You're right, we ARE all sinners. Church isn't for perfect people, just like a hospital isn't for the whole.
2. We believe Jesus Christ, our Saviour was born of the Virgin Mary in a stable and that he died for our sins and transgressions. Jesus died and was resurrected, and we will all be resurrected, as promised in the Bible. We believe that in the Garden of Gethsemane, he took upon Himself the sins and sicknesses of the world and if we use the power of repentance, we can overcome anything in this world.
3. Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. We are saved by grace and by works. The Bible also says the following:
James 2: 18, 20, 26
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
1 Thes. 1: 3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
We believe that Jesus is a God, but not God the Father. This is proven when Christ walked for miles to be baptised by John the Baptist in the River Jordan:
Matt. 3:16-17
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
God the Father and Jesus appear to Stephen - Acts 7:55-56
55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Jesus cries and asks why His Father has forsaken Him - Mark 15:34
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Why would Jesus talk to Himself?
