My uncle was kidnapped, for 5 years he was taken by this mega-terrorist group of my country (Colombia, if you've heard news this past week, well he was part of an 11 politicians group killed on June 18th) he was a very good person, he'd never been in politics by the way...before he was kidnapped he'd been in his new job 11 DAYS

The thing is, he was kidnapped and after 5 years (we never got to see him again, only in videos, called "proofs of survival" and he was murdered...they were and all points that they we executed by being shot...

So yeah, not only did he have this 5 years a life full of suffering, but his death was very traumatic.

So where does a person's soul go after life ends in such a traumatic way? Does it stay in Limbo?
How can I help so he finally rests in peace and goes to heaven or a good place?

Thank You

You are looking for comfort, and peace that your loved one, and eventually you will have peace after such a life as this, and there is hope. After we die we all go to the same place, where it is physically is a question we can't answer, but his soul will wait there along with every other soul that has passed from this life. Heven and Hell are really states of being, was his sould tortured by the choices he made here in this life, or was he at peace with the life he lived? He will be taught everything he needs to know to then progress to a life with God and Christ, or not, but it will be his choice and he will be fully informed.

I'm sorry that he and your family had to experience such evil, what a nightmare. He will live again though and be whole once more.

Sunna,
God Bless you and your uncle's soul...

There is no limbo, child. There are only two possibilities for your uncle's soul--heaven or hell. If he trusted Christ as his salvation, then he is in Heaven. If he rejected Christ as the only way to God, then he is in hell.

This sounds like a harsh thing--but it is the way it is. God desires for all to know Him and believe in Christ--that is precisely why He came to earth as Jesus. But there is only one way to God--through Christ--and we only die once. So be prepared, and don't leave your salvation to chance.

I believe that his Spirit will go to be pre-judged (that is, if he accepted Christ then his Spirit will be free.. if not it will be unable to enter Heaven)...

I believe also that a person's Spirit can be taught in the Spirit world (but will have the same attitude as it had here on earth)...

I believe that your Uncle's Spirit will be testifying against those who killed him when Judgement comes.

so many answers.....some rude, some interesting....

1) All souls go back to God where they came from.

2) SOuls are divided into categories. luke 16:19-31 lazarus and the rich man. rich man dies, not a bad guy, not saved...he can see lazarus and abraham near God's throne and the waters of life..but he cannot cross the GULF that divides them. he is "tormented" because of this and wants to go back and warn his family. So he is in heaven, but separated out.

The Book of Enoch goes one further and describes 4 holding places of the dead:
1) Murder victims back to Abel who cry out for justice and a trial. That would be your uncle. he's waiting for trial to condemn the scum that murdered him. He's in the transfigured body and feels no pain like we do. He's just hangin out waitin for court.

2) Murderers and other scum.
3) Not saved but not scum
4) Saved.

All souls back to God where they came from. Peace. Godbless.

My guess would be that he went to Paradise to rest from earthly troubles and to learn more about God and Christ and to prepare for the resurrection. Good people go to Paradise, just as the repentant thief on the right side of Christ was told by Christ that "today shalt thou be with me in Paradise". He didn't say that to the other unrepentant thief. In addition, people that are persecuted and martyred for good causes certainly get acceptance into Paradise to await the resurrection. It sounds like your uncle qualified on both counts. Rest assured, he was welcomed into Paradise. He is resting and happy and would want all of his family to know that. He awaits you there and will welcome you when you arrive.

As per Koran this soul goes to another world.
As per Bible soul goes to Heaven.
As per Vedanta soul takes another birth in this world fulfilling the 'Karma' i.e results of deeds/words/thoughts until salvation.
Now another ,World, Heaven, Hell is depicted by the conditions in this world. It is poetic as all Holy scriptures are poetry.

It doesn't matter how someone dies. It's how they lived. If he accepted Christ as his savior he is in heaven. If not, he is in hell. Everyone on earth has this choice.

Today is the day of salvation!
