Ah yes, Paul... he's my favorite, most rabid of the converts. Nothing like an ex-sinner when it comes to being judgmental. I've often felt the bible would have made a lot more sense/read better if they'd just excised everything Paul wrote.
Try keeping in mind that you'll do a lot better spiritually if you concentrate on the parts of the bible that are the actual words of Jesus Christ and take those written by the likes of Paul with a grain of salt. Christ preached love and bringing those to the faith by example, Paul preached hatred and intolerance and slaughtering those who didn't believe (not surprising considering his background. He didn't really change all that much when the scales fell).

Yes, it is perfectly fine. In general, atheists are not evil people. People of differing religions have been known to get along and make really good friends, even marry. Keep in mind, the Bible may be the word of God but it was also written down by men who I'm sure put some of their own ideas into it. Incidentally, how is it possible that God could HATE atheists with all his LOVE?

Paul is forbidding is participating with them in something sinful. Not that we can not be friends with them Jesus walked among sinners ate with them hugged them.. ^^ We as Christians can be friends with anyone. Just as Atheists can.. Love one another sweet. Love.
Just a question if you feel God hates Atheists what does it matter to you.. Atheists do not believe in God so why would that even matter if God HATES Atheists.
I need a cup of coffee.

Man you're smoking something....to be yoked is to be tied to, if you are yoked with a nonbeliever, the burden you carry is heavier than the atheists. I dont see anywhere where it says if you love them or befriend them you'll go to Hell. It's sad that when kids like you try to make Christians look bad, that you dont do your homework first.

I think God wants you to be more friends with believers and those who might be close to becoming a believer. Those who are down and out, are closer to realizing that they can't do it on their own, and need to rely on something bigger than them. They are so much closer to accepting God's salvation message, than many that you read here that are prideful in their thoughts that God doesn't exist.
Let them have it their way, But let them know , one day
EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS TO JESUS CHRIST.IS GOD.
The question is will they do it before they die, or after ?

This is obviously talking about marriage, not acquaintances. If you read the whole chapter, you could not have possibly have missed that. After all, Jesus himself was proud to be a "friend of sinners".
And you must know this, because it is a repeat post, you troll. We answered you already.

You don't know what you're talking about. The good Samaritan took care of someone that was lying in the street, beaten up and not able to give him anything in return for his care. The bible doesn't say anything about the wounded man's religion.

Jesus was supposed to live as an example of the way we are to live our lives...Mark 2:15-16
And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? Luke 15:2
And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

There is nothing wrong with loving or being friends with an Atheist. An Atheist is just a person who realizes religion is nonsense and he or she is not brainwashed by it.

No. Be friends. Reach out. Accept and love. Don't allow yourself to be swayed. God does not hate them. We should not be of the world. We are to remove ourselves from temptation.
