I already have a boyfriend, who is 20 years older than me. I am 24 and he is 44. My family do not approve of him for the sole reason of the age difference.
My sister keeps trying to put these super hot guys in my way so that maybe I get tempted to break up with my boyfriend. It makes my life miserable. How do I tell her to stop without pissing her off.
I tried to tell her once, and she said she is just introducing them to me so that I get some law school advice from them. (I'm about to apply to law schools.)
What am I supposed to do?

Hon, I know you don't want to hear this, but a twenty year age difference is a really big deal. He is old enough to be your dad! I would ask your sister to slow down, but when you do meet a guy think about whether or not he would be good in a relationship, because you are currently in a relationship that could be pretty bad for your health; why would someone that much older than you really be interested in a relationship with you? Probably because he's looking for a hot young plaything.
Think about that. But okay, the side that you'll want to hear? If you know that the two of you love each other, be very blunt with your sister; you don't need these guys, you aren't interested, and her thrusting them in your face every day sucks and you want them gone. Tell her that it is affecting your relationship with her.

It's not just women, it's men as well. They strive for the abs, and many of them also go tanning. It's very popular for men to also get plastic surgery...even muscle implants, if you can believe it! The reason is because people in general, not just women, are insecure. Society tells us that we aren't good enough through a constant barrage of media that's filled with retouched photos of already-attractive people that apparently weren't attractive enough to make it on a billboard without Photoshop. I remember learning when Fiji was introduced to television, and the percentage of people with eating disorders drastically increased. The beauty industry preys on insecure people, and that's why there are so many ads for it. The best defense is self-confidence, exercise, and a good diet.

Your just gonna have to really sit down and explain to your sister why you want her to stop trying to get you with other guys, let her know that it bothers you a lot and that your not going to change your mind about what you have already decided. Good Luck

is the guy divorced?
you're best advice to go see the ex wife or wives.
i married someone 20 years older than me; and boy, do i regret it, biggest mistake i made in my life.

on the other hand, my mom married my dad, 15 years her senior. they were married for 30 years.

it all depends on what kind of guy he is.
meet all his friends.
meet his whole family.
if he has kids, is he a good dad?
hear it from them.

does he love his mother? mine did not. how could he be a good husband?
my dad on the other hand loved his mom, and was a great dad, and husband.

Confront your sister and ask her if she's really trying to find law school advice for you or if she's shopping for a new boyfriend for you. If it's the latter, tell her thanks, but no thanks.

I'm not saying I approve of your relationship, but you are old enough to make your own decisions, and you are old enough to tell someone whether or not you want a matchmaker.

Tell her to stop it. To introduce you to girls instead that can help you about the law school thing. It's not comfortable for you and I think it's great of you that you are staying faithful to your man.
