we raise layers and wondering if we can or not. if we cant where do you find a egg cleaning solution. and the eggs we are going to eat.

Egg shells are waterproof so a bit of soap/ washing up liquid and water is fine.

Leave them to dry.

As with all eggs (incl. store bought), you should cook then thoroughly anyway.

Eggs are water and airtight. You can use the soap and rinse afterwards.

When we had chickens we would just wipe them with a damp cloth. No soap.
