Close-mindedness has nothing to do with being conservative. But i do agree there are a lot of close-minded people on yahoo in general. That's why they shut down the news article discussions.
Why? The rude people on here have nothing better to do so they play an online "character" which may or may not resemble who they are in the real world.

"Closed minded" is often used by liberals to describe anyone who doesn't agree with them.
Which makes me wonder who the truly closed-minded ones are.
It's not conservatives who are trying to shove "speech codes" down students' throats at universities.
And it's not conservatives who are trying to bring the weight of the government down on talk radio in the interest of "ideological diversity."
It's the liberals who do that -- and by the way, where are the liberals pushing for "ideological diversity" on college campuses, where liberal professors outnumber conservative ones at least 9 to 1?
Closed-minded? Please.

I have actually seen the entire spectrum of people on here. Very closed minded fanatics with no waver to their beliefs, all the way to the people, much like myself, who simply don't care, but get into arguments just because it seems fun.

i tough they were mostly far left liberals, oh and why is it that conservatives are closed minded. i have met plenty of closed minded liberals too.

Yeah, I know what U mean!!! They have such a Hatred for the "New Things of this World" Just because their "Society", "Morals" & "Bloody Bible" have "NEVER BEEN PROVEN WRONG", U'd think they "Knew Everything" from "God" Himself!!! Really hurts my Ego Too, being so "Inferior" & "Lacking" compared to ALL They Have!!! John ;-)
