to go out, no, it is not. To engage in sexual activities, it would most probably almost definetly be illegal, but you would have to check on the laws in your state.

Regardless of the legality of the situation, it is wierd and creepy and inappropriate. A 19 yr old male is in a much different place in life than a 14 yr old girl. He should be interested in girls his own age. He is a grown man, while you are still a young lady, and you should be figuring things out at your own pace, and not letting him rush you through life. Ask your father, or a male figure who you trust what he thinks about this.

That would not be the smartest thing for you to do. The age consent is now 16 and it has to be to years age difference. So you would have to be 17 for it to be considered legal if any sexual activities happen. He is probably just looking for some action and that is not what you need at your age. My fiance's sister went through the same thing when she was 13, except the guy that talked to her was 21. It is definitely not a good idea. That guy went through a lot when he started dating her. Also he did not take it as seriously as she did, so it would not be good for your emotions either. Hope this helps you! :)

First if a 19 year old asks you out he only wants one thing and doesnt have your best interests in mind. He is a pervert who wants to gain the upper hand - stick to liking and dealing with guys your age. There is no age limit on dating there is a age limit on intiating sexual intercourse with a minor (which you are). If he had sex with you it would be deemed illegal and defined as satutory rape- he can be jailed.

It's not illegal to date him, per se, you just can't have sex with him. Honestly, that's way too big of an age difference. You need to find a guy closer to your age, jumping into a relationship with a guy five years older than you and you're only fourteen, is actually shocking to me. Shoot just think about what your parents would think...come on be smart.

I think its okay because its just like a 21 year old dating a 25 year old and being four years apart seems like a normal age difference for couples... but still be caution and careful around him since he is a bit older than you. ( girls your age should be dating 15-16 years olds.) As long as he respects you and acts like a gentleman he is okay.

Depends on the state, but in all cases 14 is way to young. If you like him, you won't see him, because if you do, they can give him hard time even for just touching you. That's because it will be sexual assault. And of course, it gets worse for actual sex. Don't do it. He should know better. His life will be ruined forever.

No it is not illegal for the two of you to go out, it is however inadvisable. He will want sex from you and that is illegal for him. You need to be careful of men who are willing to put themselves in a potentially incriminating position to date you.
