I am afraid most religions do not go well with sarcasm. Muslims start organising funny hat shows and burning effigies when they smell sarcasm and Catholics begin to dream about martyrdom.
Budhist monks use sarcasm sometimes at funerals. I heard one monk say to the dead person: "Will you take your big color TV with you".
Sarcasm fits perfect with irony. The classic Greek philosophers were great at it.
