Was the answer to that question expunged from most Church Records in order to usher in Paul's doctrine?

Actually you really don't need Historical records to figure it out. Just re-read the Sermon on the Mount very carefully.

The sermon on the mount was actually from what I remember in my studies to be one of the biggest gatherings of people that came to see Jesus. As well as the longest teaching mentioned in the bible.
In this sermon "Blessed" has an implication that it was God doing the blessing. I feel Jesus was letting the people know what the idea of blessed was threw the eyes of Heaven. And not the secular meaning of Blessed that they were all to familiar with. Back then people were not blessed in the term it meant then which was highly favored or fortunate and referred to money, riches here on earth. Today when the word it is taken in the Christian context.

Blessed means the same thing TODAY.... as it Did.... 2000-years Ago!
YOU..... mistakenly as so many do..... Separate what is Called Paul's Doctrine for The Entirety of Holy Scripture!
(2Peter 1:20-21) knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture came into being of its own private interpretation.
(2Pe 1:21) For prophecy was not borne at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke being borne along by the Holy Spirit.
WHAT Other verses or Writings..... will you .... Throw OUT.... with Bigotry?
Thanks, RR

To kneel, fortunate, happy, peace, salutation, congratulations, gratitude, homage and friendliness. Probably congratulations would more easily explain the Beatitudes or the word "happy" would fit in very well as explained in my study bible.
