Waking up each day knowing that it is a new day that hasn't been used. We can make it what we want, because of God's mercy, of course.

Listening to our christian radio station, seeing and playing with my grandchildren!

Yes people with faith in God are MUCH happier than those without. We know that this place (earth) is NOT our HOME. We're just here for however many years til God takes us HOME, to heaven, where we were always meant to be!!! Nothing can take that joy away from me!

Knowing Christ as my Saviour is what makes me happiest. Helping people through praying for them. Making people smile even when I do not feel like smiling.

I do wish I had a link for you, but a recent study showed that those who practice faith, are less likely to be depressed and overweight.

What makes me happy? Sunny days and paid bills.

What made me happy today? Sunny day and paid bills.

Are people with faith happier than those without? I don't know, I haven't had the experience of not having faith. However, I've had plenty of unhappy, crappy, horrible days filled with dispair, anger and sadness: and I have faith. Perhaps I can conclude that having faith does not exempt you from emotions that are less that favorable.

What do I think makes people happiest? When their physical needs are met.

Hot sex. Kids. Not at the same time though.

Seeing my wife on the way out the door. Other than it has been mostly work and you people. Try and find happiness in that.

"The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality."
Androcles and the Lion," Preface (1916)

It really depends on the person. False hope looks to be a front runner.

I am happy each day when I awake to the sound of bird song and know that all that I need for the day is already provided by God. People who know Christ have a deep inner joy and peace that cannot be destroyed by any earthly circumstance. We know that God will provide the solution to any problem and we don't have to worry about how to "fix it". There is nothing on earth that can bring any long term happiness or joy. They may bring a tempory feeling of happiness but soon boredom sets in. With Christ life is never boring-and the joy in never ending.

1. A lot of things bring me joy. Way to many to name. But, for one, I love seeing my daughter play and learn. Children give me a lot of joy. They are really fantastic creatures.
2. My boss said we are getting out at 3pm instead of 5pm.
3. I am agnostic. I am usually a positive thinking person. I feel a responsibility for my community, and for people in the world, and when I see suffering I feel sympathy, which can feel sad. It motivates me to help however I can.
4. It is different for everyone. For me, feeling a sense of purpose in my life and community and making a difference, however big or small makes me feel happy and a sense of satisfaction.
