Yes. And some of the people who confessed to being terrorists lied to get the torture to stop. A confession made under torture is always suspect. Torture will make anyone confess to anything
We don't always do it ourselves. We have sent people to other countries and let their torturers do it for us, like Egypt and Pakistan.

I like to read alot of foreign papers and the story of the US torturing suspected terrorists in europe was out at least a year before it broke in the US. Which only re-enforces my belief that the negative stories only get told by our media once 'the cat is out of the bag', basically it was too big to hide by then. Yes we still torture, people they feel can lead them to cell leaders or know terrorist activities ,etc. The logic is the ends justifies the means- however it definately hurts any of our servicemen who are captured, they are at high risk of retaliatory torture, something never spoken of in the news, yet..........

Yep, and I remember what Gonzalez said about how torture is "pressure" and that if someone dies from pressure, that's ok. Only sick criminals get some kinda pleasure out administering gruesome tactics to make someone speak. Which in the end, will lie to get out of it, and We The People are supposed to believe these lies.

Yes, of course, we are continuing to torture people, and when necessary, we have a third country do the torturing for us.
America is for torture, and America is all about torture. This never used to be, but King George and his henchmen changed all that.
So while America used to be famous for Coca-cola and McDonald's' Hamburgers, now we're just TORTURE CENTRAL USA.
Nice, huh?

I'm sure you don't want a personal invite to see for yourself... but you can rest assured our government will spare no civilities when it comes to protecting their interests.

Likely yes, but they will never tell. If found out, they will say it's for national security. If press for details, they will refuse and claim executive privilege.
