Girl don't stress it I'm 17 and my boyfriends 16, but listen sweetie, be-careful with him cause every boy at that age they don't know the meaning of settling down, all they wanna do is be free with no strings attached have a bf OK but don't fall in love till your much older, advice so you wont get your heart broken :]

I am 17 and I have dated 16 year olds, its not wrong. If you like him then thats awesome go for it. Now it would be wrong to go out with a guy thats like 12 or something. But its only one year! Good luck hope it works out!!!

Ya know what...screw the age! I am now dating a guy that is like that too and it doesn't make a difference. I think it is ridiculous when you are ridiculed for dating someone younger. My BF is really amazing and cares about me as much as someone my own age would. Don't worry about the age, worry about how the person is!

He's a year too young to date...but otherwise there should be no issue at all being interested in someone only 1 yr younger than you.

Its perfectly fine.Its not like the age gap is huge.Its only a year or a couple moths under a year.Hey if you feel right together then age shouldn't be an issue.

yes it is ok and common. if your 16, I suggest anyone from the 14-17 age range and when your 17 I suggest, the 16-20 range.

It's just one year... he's not THAT much younger. It may seem that way now, but when you're 26 he'll be 25. Doesn't seem like such a big gap does it?
