Why do you 'need' to get married?? If you've waited this long, what's another few days? What's the big hurry??

You NEED to get married this Saturday? Sounds like a movie plot! What's happening? A trip out of the country? Insurance troubles? Immigration troubles?
I don't know where you live, but you could go to Las Vegas if you can afford the trip. I also understand that Maryland is lax about its blood test laws.
Since you and your longtime sweetheart are determined to marry in a few days, why wait until Saturday? Go Thursday or Friday, or even today, to City Hall!
Anyway, good luck and God bless, and I hope you know what you're doing!
Addendum: if it's the 7/7/07 thing, and you can't find some way to get married that day, then stage a mock wedding on 7/7/07, with the reception (party with your friends and family), and have the legal wedding on another day. You could also marry legally before that date, and wait till Saturday to hold another (mock) ceremony, and the reception.

A justice of the peace will marry you on a Saturday, but this Saturday is a very popular date (7/7/07) Call your county court house to see if any are available. Or, check for officiants on the internet in your area. Your primary concern at this time is to be sure and get your marriage license as well, usually it has to be done at least 3 days in advance and no more than 30 days.

You can get a list of Officiants who can go to whatever location you want to get married at. But good luck finding someone who will be available on such short notice. Also, July 7th is the wedding day of the year this year, so good luck finding anyone who's available period. You really should have thought of this sooner.
I'm not sure why you have to get married this Saturday, but if its just because its 07/07/2007 and it's the special lucky day of the year, why don't you start planning your wedding for next year instead and you can have it on August 8th. That's suppose to be next year's lucky date. 08/08/2008

Talk about waiting until the last minute!! Unfortunately for you, experts are estimating that between 30,000 and 70,000 couples are getting married this Saturday, so your chances of finding an open church are quite slim. Why do you NEED to do it on Saturday?? You've been together for 8 years and haven't felt the need to get married... what's another month?

Know what you mean. Try calling the courthouse sometimes they will have alist of officiants licensed through the state to marry people. I just got married a few days ago, we have been together 7.5 yrs and have 2 kids. We just went to the courthouse and were married by the commisioner of marriage. Nice and easy.

lol why didnt you think of this sooner? call some JP's around and get your marriage licence now as there is a 3 day wait in most places.
I am guessing you want 7/7/07 because its "lucky" with all the 7's......

Why do you NEED to get married this Saturday?
Is it just because it is 7/7/7???
This should have been really planned out if you wanted it on that date for a while.
Why the rush?

Why did you wait till now to find a pastor? You can try a Episcopal church, they're usually available for emergencies.

Call a Justice of the Peace... My husband and I used one when we got married, it was just a small wedding, but he agreed to do it on a Saturday.
