i need oxygen to breathe. got to have it. if i don't breathe then i die.
I have god and my faith. But i wouldn't say it was a need. people don't need faith of any kind to live. But i think it makes living easier.

I need God in my life more than anything. Oxygen sustains life, and promotes combustion, nothing more. But God gives my life purpose. Without God, there is no moral compass to guide me. Without God, I could arbitrarily choose any moral code and never look back.
Without God, I would have no existence beyond the mortal life and so what would be the point of trying to make an impact for good or ill. There would be no way I could benefit from it, so it would be a waste of effort. I would be better off taking the part of a Hedonist.
With God in my life, though, I know that I will go on after this life and will be able to see the fruits of my labors.
When all the oxygen is gone, God will still be there. But if God were gone, all the oxygen in the universe would not give my life meaning or extend my existence beyond this life.

Oxygen - your question asks which I need more in life. Without oxygen, I would not be alive. Right now this minute in my life I need oxygen or I will die. If I did not have God in my life (I do but that is another matter) I would still be able to live right now.

Oxygen is only needed for the time we live here on earth. If we run out of oxygen, we will die to this life and face the eternity of our choosing. If we do not have God in our life, the eternity we face would be horrific indeed. So, in my opinion, though oxygen is good and I enjoy the imbibing of it regularly, I would have to say that I feel that we need God more. Our time on this earth is so miniscule compared to an eternity. My Mother was on oxygen for two years before she died, but if you had asked her if she would rather have the oxygen or God, she would have ripped that oxygen hose out of her nose in an instant. She knew from where true life springs.

God, God gives oxygen so I'd need God. God gives me everything I need in life. So I'd choose God over everything.

Is that supposed to be a trick question? Well God bless you for trying to fool me. God is more important. Without God there would be no oxygen.

Well, I need oxygen to live...so this is really a tough question.
Could simply having God help me to survive without oxygen? Maybe, but I wouldn't want to test it.
If I had to choose, though, like I was going to be suffocated unless I denounced God, I would choose God. I think.
This is a tough question. Really.

God because He made oxygen. If He took it away He would have a backup method.
