This is an interesting question . . .

Women who are more confident, well adjusted, and intelligent, often care less about amping their physical appearance, a.k.a. don't mind looking plain. Such people make better company.

That being said, men will also put up with needy, annoying women because they are attractive. The result is that most very attractive women are conceited, high-maintenance, shallow people--because that's how they've learned to get by in society. With such a person--all you really can be interested in is sex.

Really the answer to that question is simple. Wether or not he can stand being around you for long periods of time. It's in our very nature as men to seek out a mate and your ability to not annoy the hell out of us will determine your ability to hold on to a guy.

If we really like her, we like everything and cannot get enough. If we don't want her as a girlfriend, pretty much we only want sex and will say or do anything to get it the first time.
