I am going to buy a new phone and plan from Sprint and they're site I think is insecured. They ask for social security, credit card info, and birthday info. The website is un-protected from Verisign. I just hope I won't get hacked or something.

But my original question is.. If I order something online will there be a bill stating i bought it? I need to know so that just in case I get my "info" stolen when they buy something I can catch it right away.

I have sprint and i pay my bill online monthly and never had a problem and when you get your new phone there should be an invoice stating your purchases.

If it is an unsecured site don't touch it. Don't give them any information ! Go to a reputable dealer.
And,Yes, you will get an invoice (confirmation email)sent to your email address confirming your purchase. Make sure if they don't ask you , that you ask them to send you one. If they are legit they will.

I don't know why they'd need your social security number and birthdate. I'd avoid this one.
