Madam Blavatsky (can't think what her first name was) founded Theosophy.

I know some witches are effectively monotheistic, worshiping only The Goddess, but I don't know that they have a specific name. The Covenant of the Goddess is not so much a religion as a confederation of covens.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, when humans freely roamed the country side living directly in the face of nature, in harmony with nature, in balance with nature all knew, and respected, the laws of nature which are femenine by nature because Mother Earth has feminine qualities. She nurtures. Earth science, i.e. knowing the properties of plant, stone and animal life, understanding the elements, closely relating to the Living Presence (energy), etc., was used as a way of life. Humans followed the ways of the feminine earth and lived as nurturing folks. Most unlike today. Religion means 'to tie back', hence, following the laws of nature keeps one tied back to the essence of life, ourselves, Living Presence. This is the first and only true female religion. By the way, these gentle humans, our ancestors were, of course, country dwellers, Pagans. Pagan means "country dweller'. When power hungry, greedy men organized religion and forced it upon the real people (using threats, punishments, torture and death) the world denied the feminine aspect and the whole of it turned from matriarchal rule to patriarchal rule. Hence, the horrors of the world today. This is called 'living backwards', away from the life enforcing wisdom of the feminine nature. Doesn't work, will never work. This is where the devil was created. e-v-i-l = l-i-v-e = to live backwards. To keep living backwards = d-e-v-i-l = l-i-v-e-d. The atrocious stories created by those power hungry religious men about witches (pagans) was to suppress and demean the all wise feminine aspect of every human being, using the female as the icon of evil. The true meaning of witch craft is; witch = wisdom, and craft = art. Witch craft is the 'art of wisdom', earth wisdom. Oldest most ancient, most effective religion of all. Nature is the doorway into the spirit world. Know nature and you will know yourself. And no, wiccans do not just worship Goddess. They merely respect the wisdom of the Goddess, yet honor to power of God. Same/same. Both are energy, both are loved.

Wicca was creaded by Gerald Gardner in the 1950s.

Invisible Pink Unicornism was probably started by a woman. (But I don't know and wouldn't bet much on it.)

If you don't count Amy Semple McPherson who founded a Christian denomination (Foursquare Gospel), then I can only think of one:

Christian Science (Neither "Christian" or "Science", by the way)

Founder: Mary Baker Eddy
