Yes, citizenship can and has been denied to those with criminal records. If you have one and want to get citizenship, get a lawyer.

Yes, you can certainly be denied citizenship based on your criminal record, either here or your home country.

There are a multitude of crimes that will disallow you for citizenship. I'm not a lawyer, but believe any felony or even a prostitution bust may be enough to reject you.

I also understand that you really want an attorney before you apply so that the attorney can help create the necessary papers as to why the individual would be a good citizen even with a past criminal history.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNQmO

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Yes if you have been convicted of drug trafficing and or a felony they cannot by law allow you to become a united states citizen based on criminal background and most likely no lawyer can get them out of it

Of course you can be denied for that reason. That is why it is so imperative that the illegal criminal aliens be deported. A good percentage of them have criminal records in their own countries, and being here illegally, makes them a criminal here.

You know, immigration is a really touchy issue right now in the US. I would stay away for a couple years or it could really suck for you. BTW. We already have enough criminals here coming from beautiful Mexico. You see. we have been so fuocked by Arabs, and Mexicans and trash countries that all i hear when i read your question is that you are coming here to take from us and you have no intentions of giving or building up this nation. Really, your a criminal. Believe it or not criminal, not everyone thinks its cool to be a criminal. Go somewhere else, try Mexico or Iran.
