Anybody hear anything about the Type of aircraft that crashed at CRQ? I'm a pilot, but i'm looking on flight aware, and can't seem to find the plane that went down. It had to be on an IFR flight plane, considering that it was almost 0/0. About 1/8 vis. The only thing i can think of is that he was an IFR to VFR on top clearance, but even, then, i have only seen a picture of the tail, with reference to a person walking, and it seems like it was a jet. maybe a Citation? like i said, anybody know anything i don't know?

"The plane was a twin-engine Beechcraft 90 turboprop registered to Southwest Consulting Group, Inc., in San Diego and was headed to Tucson, Ariz., said Allen Kenitzer, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration."

Hope this helps and I hope you don't know them.

In the above mentioned story, it says 4 passenger, and Beech C-90. One of those is not right, because a C-90 can carry more than 4.
The report I heard on TV said a private jet, and showed the vertical stabilizer, which was not on any jet I have seen.
More reliable info will surface when the preliminary NTSB report is released.
