I used a really pretty rendition of the wedding march, but it had organs, so I won't even suggest it. However, you could always use Trumpets Voluntary. It's really pretty. Click on the link and scroll down to where you can listen to the music. This rendition of Trumpets Voluntary is really pretty. It's number 9 on the list...

The song is from from an old Opera called Lohengrin. It was a Tragedy and I STILL can't figure out why anyone would use that song. In the Opera, the bride dies of a broken heart. It's not a "happily ever after" type story. As far as I know, The term "Wedding March" would apply to ANY song you use to walk down the aisle. You can choose ANY song you like. I am considering "At Last" by Etta James. And I know a lot of brides choose this and a variety of other songs. I would suggest choosing a song that has meaning to you... or just a nice love song that you like, and use that.

I cant remember which movie it was in, it was either The Money Pit or the original version of The In-Laws (the Peter Faulk version) but at the end they have an orchestra and rock band combined on the wedding march, that might be what you are looking for, I have no idea how to tell you to go about finding it though, you may have to rent the movies and see in the credits who played the songs to be able to find a recording of it.

if you don't like the wedding march, just go to the library and get a ton of cds...start listening and see if something strikes your fancy. i wouldn't recommend something TOO drastic (ie heavy metal)....remember that weddings are as much for your family/groom as they are for you, so that would be a good way to offend those you love.
i have been to weddings where just simple classical music was played, where friends of the couple played instruments, etc, etc.
it doesn't have to be classical, either- pick a song that speaks to you as a couple, is something that really sums up the feeling of the occasion.
OR- my cousin did this and it was HILARIOUS- they rented a string quartet to play....when my cousin walked down the aisle, it was an old irish song to nod to her father's family, very pretty, very classy....but for the recessional, the quartet played their university's fight song! it was brilliant because it took everyone a few seconds to place it, and the whole place was laughing.
make it your own.

Know someone who can play an instruments? Have them do a recording. Or have them perform live.
I just performed a wedding Sunday & the bride walked in to The Wedding March being played acoustically on a guitar. It was soft and tender, one of the most beautiful entrances.

I went to a wedding a couple of years ago where the bride marched down to either "You Are So Beautiful To Me." The attendants came in to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," the one a man sings instead of Judy Garland. I'm sorry I am not up on who it was. The girls wore black skirts and jewel-toned blouses. The men wore black pants and shirts with ties that matched the girls' blouses. It was very pretty.

Try these:
"Flower Drum Song: Wedding Parade/A Hundred Million Miracles"--Richard Rodgers
"The Sound of Music: Processional"--Richard Rodgers
(The stage version has some added "Alleluias"!)
"Mlada: Procession of the Nobles"--Rimsky-Korsakov
"Aida: Grand March"--Verdi
Your local record/CD store should have collections of marches in its Classical Music section, as well as CDs of wedding music. Good luck and God bless!
Addedum: I've found two CD collections on Amazon.com:

I am using the traditional wedding march, but my attendants will be walking down to "True Companion" by Marc Cohn. And I think when we walk out we will be walking to "Going to the Chapel" not sure on that yet.
