It's psoriasis, not sirosis. Cirrhosis is liver disease.
Psoriasis is autoimmune disease, its cause is not known and treatment is not always successful. You have to keep trying till you get something which works. Good luck!
Check this if not already tried-
For plaque type lesions- Daivonex Oint (containsCalcipotriol)
For psoriasis mycosis fungoides- Macsoralen Tab & Solution. (Containing- Methoxsalen)
READ THE PRODUCT INFORMATION VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING!

I hope you mean psoriasis, not cirrhosis..which is a liver disease.
I too have psoriasis and use Lidex cream; a topical steriod and Elidel cream . I know that there are probably hundreds of medicines, but these work for me. Elidel is a non-steriod cream that doesn't leave your skin looking shiny and scarred. I also use fragrance free washing machine detergent, Dove bar soap, keep my showers luke warm, (not hot) and I avoid wearing pantihose, because they make my skin flare up really bad. When I was a teenager, my dermatologist told my parents that the sun and ocean water would help. I could have kissed him! Just do not let your skin burn....it will make you feel 50 times worse.
I am sending you a link that I find helpful. There are new treatments that pop up everyday, and new suggestions to alleviate the discomfort. Hang in there and "try anything once" that's my motto!
Best wishes.
I forgot to mention....the very best over-the-counter remedy I've ever tried is called "Scalpicin". It contains 3% salicyclic acid and it was made for itchy scalps but instantly stops the itching on my legs. It's an odor free, clear liquid that's reasonably priced. Buy it at WalMart, or a well stocked grocery store.

HI
Sorry to hear that you have problems your skin. There are in fact creams, is that what you are using? Your doctor is really the best person to advise on this. Maybe you can try a natural doctor who may be able to recommend non-chemical products.
As far as I know you cant get rid of it but you simply have to treat the skin with moisturisers and bathing as the skin sheds often.
Hope all works out for you and dont give up.

If you don't know whether your cat has an allergy or a disease you must take your cat to the vet. No one on the internet is going to diagnose what is wrong with your cat or tell you how to treat it. Take your cat to the vet and remember that "natural" doesn't mean "safe" - "natural" often means untested and unproven by science. Your vet will help your cat.

I hope you are talking about "Psoriasis". I would like to real life example of my friend who had this disease for around 6 years and could not do anything about it till he met with a doctor Dr V N Saxena from Jaipur Medical College and within two years the disease stop spreading and now its almost cured. I am so happy with his status of disease as he tried everything but nothing helped him. I can assure you if you are from any area near Jaipur then get in touch with that Doctor. If you need any more help do get in touch.
But dont worry this disease can be cured. Have faith.
Here is a story about that doctor published in The Hindu
Wish you all the good luck, dont wait and get in touch with that Doctor Dr V N Saxena asap.
Dermatologists claim breakthrough in cure of psoriasis
Special Correspondent
Dr. V.N. Saxena and Dr. Jaideep Dogra identify a bacterium in the throat as a causative organism of the illness
JAIPUR: Two dermatologists of Jaipur have claimed a breakthrough in the cure of psoriasis, a skin disease causing red scaly patches that was previously thought to be a lifelong ailment, by identifying a bacterium in the throat as a causative organism of the illness.
The doctors have treated the patients of psoriasis by antibiotic drugs such as penicillin and azithromycin.
V.N. Saxena of the Department of Dermatology at Sawai Man Singh Medical College here and Jaideep Dogra of the Central Government Health Scheme in their evidence-based research have for the first time found a permanent cure for psoriasis for which only suppressive therapy was available so far.
The two doctors have stated that streptococci bacteria in the throat are responsible for causing acute psoriasis, which is found in approximately three per cent population around the world.
The remnants of streptococci left in the body following throat infection, possibly because of inadequate elimination by the immune system, cause psoriasis after a gap ranging from a few months to several years, according to their research.
The research, published in the European Journal of Dermatology recently, has found similarities between the psoriasis disorder after throat infection and rheumatic heart disease after rheumatic fever.
Dr. Dogra told The Hindu here on Thursday that when the therapy was initiated on the lines of treatment of rheumatic heart ailment, excellent clearing of lesions and patches was observed within a few weeks after injecting benzathine penicillin into the patients.
Those suffering from psoriasis have oval to round scaly patches of different sizes occurring mainly on the back of arms and scalp.
The lesion has silvery scales with reddish base and the disorder generally intensifies during winter. In some patients, joints and nails may also be affected.
Dr. Dogra said nearly 70 per cent of the psoriasis patients of all age groups develop the disease in a chronic form.
"When killed streptococcal material was injected in the skin of normal persons, psoriatic lesion developed at the site of injection and elsewhere in the body," he said, adding that experiments spanning two years concluded that streptococci was the cause of the illness.
A recent study by Richard D.R. Camp of the Department of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation in the University of Leicester, U.K., has also supported the work of the Jaipur doctors by concluding that "long-lived'' streptococci might be responsible for chronic psoriasis.
Prof. Saxena and Dr. JaideepDogra selected 30 histopathologically confirmed patients, including 20 men and 10 women, with chronic psoriasis for the study, and all of them responded positively to the treatment with none of them having had a relapse of disorder during the study period of two years, except for the development of a few small new lesions in the six patients during winter which were cleared on continuing the treatment.
