Well you have a good thing going for you. You are heavy so you burn calories quicker than someone smaller than you. Get into the gym and get a good cardio session going 10 minutes on the treadmill 10 minutes On the elliptical and 10 minutes on the bike. 5 minutes on the row machine if they have one. Get rid of calories take your current eating habits, write everything you eat down in a journal take those calories and subtract 500. You have to lose 3500 calories to lose one pound plus whatever you eat say your on a 2000 calorie diet you have to lose 5500 calories to lose a pound. Get rid of excessive sugar, bleached flour, hydrogenated fats and oils, high fat and high saturated fat foods, excessive wheat and dairy products. Increase your fiber intake by eating things like oatmeal walmart has a cheap organic oatmeal that taste good. Set realistic goals and you will be fine Good Luck

Here's the first thing you need to know.... it is not going to be easy. Don't fall for anything that says you can eat whatever you want and not excercise and lose weight. It won't work!
Don't do a fad diet... the weight and some will come back on eventually.
You need to make a lifestyle change and set realistic goals.
Here are just a few simple guidelines that have and are continuing to help me:

Eat healthy food
Cook at home so that you know exactly what is going in and so you can control the portions.
If you have to eat out look at the nutritional information before leaving or ask at the restaurant.
Eat smaller portions but more frequently
Drink plenty of water... cutting out soda and other sugary drinks can make a huge difference.
I try to have a cut off time for me to eat. Usually no later then seven
Don't deprive yourself of things that you are craving... try and find substitutes... like instead of ice cream have non fat frozen yogurt.
Make excercise apart of your routine
Have a good support group
Write down what you eat

And remember if you mess up don't get discouraged just get back on it.
Just for your info weight watchers is a great program and is easy to follow

Hope this helps!!!! You can do it!!!

There are millions of ways to lose weight out there, but the natural way would be to eat healthier, for example tons of fruits and even more vegetables. You don't want to turn vegetarian, though, because meat gives you protein, which helps you work out.

I'd say with your fat, you can turn that into a good thing and try to get muscles. The thing is, your fat stores lots of energy, and when you work out, your body has more to use, hence getting you better results compared to a skinny person.

Another thing is genetics and how you treated yourself so far in life. If your the type with bad genetics and have been eating horrible for your whole like, I'd say it'd be very hard.

On the otherhand, if you have good genetics and you're just like this temporarily, then it's easier.

But then again, don't take my word for it, contact a weight loss program.

I am overweight for my satisfaction, need to loose about 30 lbs. I recently starting taking a diet aid, "Solo Slim". it is a herb but you only take it once a day. You really do not feel any affects from it like jitters, nervousness etc because it is all natural, no caffeine, ephera etc. It helps cut the cravings especially for sweets and the urge to munch. I have been loosing about 2 lbs per week.
You can find it by doing a google search or on ebay. It retails for $39.99 for 1 month, thats not too bad.
Give it a try.

A woman I worked with had a water drinking regiment to make sure she got the recommended daily amount. She said that she lost weight just by doing that.
Water helps to control appetite.
You could start a fitness routine. Start slow and under the advice of your physician. Just eat a healthy and balanced diet. Start developing healthy habits. Don't expect too much too soon. Life is a journey.

You wanna be eating 3 meals a day, wholewheat breakfast cereal such as muesli or bran flakes or wholemeal toast with low fat spreads. Have a light lunch such as salad with lean meat such as ham or chicken with a pitta bread (preferably wholemeal) and low fat yogurt with fruit snacks during the day and then a good sized evening meal with plenty of steamed veg and fish or chicken with jacket spud or boiled potato's or even wholewheat pasta instead of spuds. Drink plenty of water. Cut out drinks with added sugars and maybe drink the odd can of diet drinks. Exercises is good too, you only need to do 20 mins, 3 times a week cardiovascular exercises to do your heart he world of good.

If its motivation you lack join somewhere like weight-watchers, this is not a diet class its a way of changing your eating habits and opting for a healthier lifestyle and believe me it works and the weight comes off.

In and a round all of this allow yourself one day in the week where you can eat as you like (within reason) or you could tire fast of your new routines.

I do a DVD every morning at home by a lady called Joanna Hall, (Drop a dress size) check her out, all her routines are about 20mins each and you can target whatever you feel you want to, by doing this I am already cutting a slight 6-pack, my bum is lifting and my legs toning

Good luck

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.

Well eat four small meals a day, replace snacks with vegetables and fruits, exercise every single day for an hour and drink slim tea.

I think it be a lot easier if you start going to a gym with your friends...when you do excercise with you friends you have more fun and you also get distracted...Also when you come from the gym you are soo tired, that you don't even want to eat...you just want to drop on your bed and sleep
