(on yahoo Q & A...)

and as part B of this question, would this have anything to do with the fact that Satan is making desperate (although lame) attempts to dis-credit it?

marc_p... If I can't see the forest for the trees, at least I know who created both! and I also know that anyone not serving God is serving Satan (whether they realize it themselves, or not...) Praying for you.

"would this have anything to do with the fact that Satan is making desperate (although lame) attempts to dis-credit it?"

Obviously "Satan" doesn't need to bother.

Christianity is the most ridiculed belief here largely because of the bad behavior of the Christians here, and you discredit it yourself when you pretend not to notice that, and instead to try to pass the blame to "Satan".

Next time you want to complain about how your beliefs are received, don't lie about others in the process. It undermines your point.

You're a compulsive liar, apparently.

Maybe its because of the poor grammar and spelling.

Wait....guys she found out that we're working for Satan......oh crap. We've gotta fix this at the next meeting.....

No to seriously answer your question, its because Christianity is the dominate religion in the U.S. and has left some people bitter for various reasons, whether it be intolerance, rude actions, or just the hypocrisy of some Christians. This is not to say that all Christians are like this, but in general, they do seem to oppress the minority (religiously speaking). The whole trying to get the dogma made into law thing really isn't working for everybody, which is why it's criticized more than say Judaism or Islam.

How pathetic. Has it ever occurred to you that Christianity is the religion most are familiar with (that speak English).
Many non-believer's/atheists grew up in a Christian environment and therefore, that is the religion they discuss most often. I'm sure if you learned Indian, there would be many arguments in regards to the Hindu list of deities. If you learned Mandarin Chinese, you would find the majority of ques and answers about Buddhism. Etc...
Also, it depends on your perspective. Do a search on 'Wicca' I've seen a lot of questions about them.

It is widely ridiculed on Yahoo Q & A because outside of it people are trying to force the religion on people and not just in the U.S. but around the world. Also that people try to pass it off as fact instead of a belief.

I think Satan has better things to do then hang out on Yahoo answers.

it might be and as a christian i know that its not just here but the sorts of things there saying are that bad they are not criticising us as a person they just wont accept what we believe and that is fine as they are intitled to their opions but spare a thought for the people who have unfair stereotypes put upon them through the actions of a few twisted people, these days often Muslims.
As for part B i think that we're discrediting ourselfs a lot when we are hypocrites or christians lead a very unchristian life

Yes. We're a soft touch. They know we believe in turning the other cheek, in returning good for evil.

Re. part B, no, not Satan. People. Satan means 'adversary'. (As in 'Get thee behind me, Satan'). So there's a bit of satan in all of us, we have to overcome it. I do think that the world is getting worse, nasty things are becoming generally accepted. It's the end times, as 'in the days of Noah'.

Be assured that In the last days the Lord warned us that there would be alot of mockers of our faith...
I am to stand strong and press towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus... Phillipians 3:14 ...So in that day our FATHER will say...Well done my faithful servant,,Ye have inherited the kingdom of heaven.......Thanks alot this was a wonderful question!!!!

Yes. Christians are targeted because they are presenting THE WAY, THE LIFE, THE TRUTH.

JESUS

( atheist are here because their father, the devil, compels them to be )

John 8:43-45

New King James Version

43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.

You are correct.

For the same reason, no one bothers to counterfeit a $15 bill.

False cults all try to pretend to be the real thing and the one thing all false cults agree on is that they hate the truth.

Imaginary beings have nothing to do with it. The reason Christianity gets so much greif on these boards is because the majority of the users are in the US. In the US, the major religion is Christianity.
